They’re gonna have a blast with mine!

My sister walked into my bedroom and looked at my bookshelf. She was scanning to see what I’d been reading. Then I hear, “ What The Hell?”. I said, don’t freak out, you know I research and that includes reading many different things. It doesn’t mean I subscribe to the agenda or belief system.

She just stared at me and shook her head. 😂

Ahh, great so what you are saying WW is that the Government through their own technology has all the data stored about the Pedo's in Government, Entertainment and Corporations that Trump denied existed!! Now we just wait for all of it to be exposed right!! Where are the hackers of this technology when you need them!!

🐺The Wise Wolf's avatar

they're working for the companies that collect the data now bro. the whitehat hacker hasn't been 'real' in 20 years. anonymous is a cia psy op. when they started busting hacktivists left and right, we stopped doing it. no one wants to spend 10 years in a federal prison and then the rest of their life flipping burgers because no one will hire them.

Good grief. that is a hell of bummer of a story for Sunday.. which I scanned..

I would never share that story because so much needs to be factchecked.. in the article and it has some gross parts in it. who would be so stupid as to take photos of their child's personal parts? Who? Who would be so stupid as to let their child chat w/ Chatbot and keep diary on line?

Everyone knows. who has been on line that there has NOT BEEN ANY PRIVACY since Y2K.. as far as the ICE and the SECret Service. I have had dealings w/ Secret Service. because of a friend of mine RIP.. thew a staff .. yep. I should write a story on him. over Bill clinton's fence years ago. I came back from a business trip and there was bzness card on my door. BELIEVE ME SECRET SerVIce and now ICE. will not be at anyone "DOOR' with out a warrant. I should ask where you live I will look at that later. THAT AIN't GONNA happn. Google is in charge now. I found that out in Florida.

if one has the kahunas to actually apply the 4th amendment in a court of law.

as I have said repeatedly on many posts and many occasions.. I learned that the COPS.. as you call them.. cannot enter one's house NO MATTER WHAT in VA,, if you have LARGE NO TRESPASSING SIGN posted on FRont door. and Back.. and applies to EVERYONE. not just Police.. I have gone to court on this.. yes I have and dealt w/ this on more than one occasion.. JUST SHuT the DoOR. yeah. don not answer it.. DO NOT GO OUT THERE ...(I made that mistake ONCE).. no matter how nice that person is POUNDING ON THE DOOR.. cop, neighbor. etc unless you have given permission and that applies to interior of building too.. apts. the Exception could be Landlords saying it is Ok then sue the damn landlord. I have filed back in the day incident reports about cops.. stalkers etc. back when i was churning and burning.. thank God I am retired just looking for some peace and quiet as in in theory guaranteed by the no less than the Virginia law. Uninterrupted Possession: You have the exclusive right to live in or use your property safely and privately

and also right to PEACE AND Quiet under VA .. I swear just reading that.. makes my blood boil .. if I were younger I would already be filing suit against my neighbors.. that is a whole 'nuther story

so for now. going to venture out.. have a good SuNDAY.

Just like George Orwell wrote. As a regular person, I really don’t know what I can do.

Get yourself a computer with good ram and run local large language models. Only use the big brands as needed for super high level thinking and don’t send anything personal. Use local models for everything else. Way cheaper! way safer!

🐺The Wise Wolf's avatar

lol bro running local models is FAR from cheap. my ai computer cost more than my last car did and it’s only a mid-range system with 128gb of vram.

Andrew Coopersmith's avatar

Yeah, that’s why I was asking. I have a Mac and it works OK for running things like open claw and Hermes for some workflows. But it’s not enough to run bigger models. I do some coding work, but I am curious what your big machine is and if your happy with it. I’m looking for suggestions for when go bigger .. I’m looking to take on some larger projects later in the year and I know that buying equipment after this year is only gonna get more expensive and more restrictive so I’m trying to invest into a bigger computer to run some of my bigger agent projects. Sounds like what you’re running might be the right step up.

if you want a cheap powerhouse ai workstation... this is what I'd do now if I had thought of it back then and I'd have saved a small fortune...

Dual Xeon workstation that uses DDR3 ram, 1 terabyte of DDR3 (it's SO much cheaper and still plenty fast for LLM), then 2 modded 2080 22gb gpus - you get 44gb of vram and near 3090 levels of power for a third of the price. Granted, you have to order them from China and wait a month to get them.

A system like this could run frontier-level models locally at around 20 tokens per second which is PLENTY fast for most people.

It can also run large video generation models relatively quickly which is something my current ai setup struggles with because I went with AMD gpus to save money and now regret it entirely.

What kind of computer do you like it? Would you recommend it?

🐺The Wise Wolf's avatar

what kind? the kind that works i suppose? yes, i'd recommend using a functional computer.

the average person doesn't need the level of computing i do. they're fine with a 500 dollar laptop running windows for most purposes.

i am a programmer and content creator so i needed a powerful, pro-level system because my income depends on having that level of power available to me.

Every Targeted Individual knows this very well. They just label you a “terrorist” and then random strangers are looking at EVERYTHING you are doing. Privacy Shmivacy.

That Lee County case is a useful marker, because the arrest itself was hard to argue with and the process behind it still deserves scrutiny. A model flagged the chats, a reviewer at a private company read them, and the sheriff had them before the user knew anyone was looking. Once cloud services become the default home for diaries and homework, that pipeline starts to look like a search with no warrant and no judge in the loop. Congress has been slow on this, but a narrow rule could go a long way, with written disclosure of every referral to police plus a clear threshold a human reviewer has to meet before escalating. The Gaggle stories suggest schools might be the first place to test whether that kind of transparency actually changes reviewer behavior.

Pentagon Cyber Official Provides Progress

Update on Zero Trust Strategy Roadmap

"The Pentagon's senior information security official said today that the Defense

Department is on track to implement its zero trust cybersecurity framework by fiscal

year 2027 as planned.

David McKeown, who serves as the DOD's deputy chief information officer as well as

the department's senior information security officer said his office has been hard at

work to ensure a smooth rollout of the initiative after publishing the Zero Trust Strategy

and Roadmap in November.

He credited partnerships with the private sector as a key enabler of the DOD's

progress toward implementing the key capabilities identified in the roadmap so far.

This applies to negative comments you make about your boss, a job or colleagues you dislike, if you’re thinking of quitting, etc. If you are involved in a lawsuit, every question or comment you make about said job situation will be used in court. That law was passed last year.

Would love to know how to set myself up for future.

I did some reading on it, but it got to be too much. I’m a Mac user, so not much info out there. Where does one go to find out how to DIY?

Andrew Coopersmith's avatar

Get a computer with enough ram to run local large language models. They are easy to download. It keeps all the data on your own computer. Don’t use the big companies for anything personal.
