I’m here, and agree with you. Critical thinking and creativity is vanishing and it is terrifying. AI gurus think it is so cool that AI goes in and “scrapes” all of this data, including books, essays, etc, They are stomping all over creators rights. We are forsaking our humanity for a big red easy button.

amazing work with this article. It's so frustrating seeing people losing their critical thinking skills, losing their creativity because of this machines. In my country, a fascist was just elected because the news were 24/7 talking about crimes and murder. Now the same media talks about people enjoying themselves in the park celebrating christmas. Nothing has changed but the news. This fascist won because 55% of my country blieves everything on TV.

I'm sick and tired of people not thinking. Of people falling on the hands of this AI slop-scammers.

I'm with you here, I can't afford a subscription sadly, but I'm reading you.

They need to exposed. If I post something from another author even using my own words as much as I can, I still give the original author credit. That’s just the proper and ethical thing to do. I follow very few people. When I post something in disagreement I try not to be mean. When putting forth something more factual to break apart un-researched and braised generalizing I have gotten verbally told to hell. lol

So I just block that person and walk away. I don’t want to use my time and my energy to argue that way. I can’t even get to all the posts by the gifted people I follow. Some just get scanned and I honestly cannot contribute financially with a Social Security budget. So I hope others who can, step up. A good author is worth it.

Hey Wise Wolf, not sure what you name is but been reading your site for about a week and supported you, I use Jeremiah Jr when I post so there might be some out there in your base that are familiar with me.

If not, no worries, I am nobody.

Been studying the decay you point out in light of Bible prophecy for 40+ years so not new to the party, back in the day one actually had to read books vs a 5 minute YouTube podcasts now.

Hear and feel your angst, in that post, hear you.!

But imho we still live in enemy territory currently, hostile territory, why does that surprise you.?

I too am frustrated from decades of running a business in a crooked casino and posting and trying to awaken people. I like mostly what I have read so far, love the passion but I personally always don’t want to define myself no primarily with people as to what I am against, but more so, and what I am for.

Proverbs 17:15 is the fine line we all have to walk.

Jj paraphrase……

“Don’t make the lost comfortable in their sin, and don’t beat up the sheep unnecessarily”.

I have listened to a pastor for decades and heard a sermon recently that was pieced together via AI from a number of his sermons. I only knew that because I know him and what he teaches.

Deception. first warning our Lord gave.

“Keep fighting the good fight of faith” it won’t be like this for much longer. 🙂

Dude, I don’t know how old you are, but I realised the vast majority of humanity are complete morons over 30 years ago. Read up on the five laws of human stupidity written by the hilarious and brilliant Carlo Cipolla.

You can make money off the stupid, but not by trying to un-stupidate them; it’s impossible.

Every industry is changing but it is unfortunate how this is directly impacting you. I pull out old copies of The Spotlight newspaper that I subscribed to as a teenager in 1983 to remind me that I knew the trend back then and it has continued and simply accelerated. We live in an age of lies and apostasy and were sold out by my parents and their generation with adherence to the religion of self and all of the accompanying idols. I for one, am excited about the #greatawakening that is underway and will never despair no matter how dark. Keep the Faith!

I'm here.. your content is Christian, human and edgy... Just what I like. A paradox of progress is how I see AI. It's not going away so I guess we try to take a stand against it... Whatever that means. And really, what else can we do? I pray you keep on keepin on...

I am here. I don’t know if I can recognize AI chat. I am so tech illiterate I cannot use it. I appreciate your pointing out hints to recognize AI. I will try to be more alert. I am scared of the advances AI is making…people losing jobs and more importantly people losing people! We are not socializing anymore! Sad! Kids don’t know how to make real friends. Too busy on phones. Very sad.

Wise Wolf. Keep doing what you are doing. Very visceral commentary that appeals to us deep thinkers. Your journalism has a soul, unlike the AI slop that is being put out there. We are at the end of the age no stopping this great and horrible juggernaut that was built under our noses. We have been programmed; we have been duped. It is now time to take the Bible, God’s word, and read it and absorb what God has been trying to tell us for 2000 years. It is not coming…it has come. Anyone reading this comment support this person. He is the real deal.

That’s exactly the problem I have with this piece. Lots of valid points, but some dangerous advice here. I’m trying to take my time and write a thoughtful response w/o making it about me or my emotions 😂 It’s taking longer than I’m comfortable with, but somebody needs to say it

I am a college professor and see the same thing in the classroom. The easy way is the road most often taken. Sacrifice and hard work is not the norm. I applaud the fight you are taking. Do not give up. Be true to yourself, even when you are surrounded by those that don’t care.

Agree with you, Wise Wolf. I’m a proofreader and writer by trade and AI can now be reliably used to do proofreading.

I will note my top three favorite punctuation:

1. Em dash

2. Semicolon

3. Exclamation point (because it’s SO FUN!!!)

I got a bit alarmed reading your top bullet points on how to recognize AI writing because I personally write like that naturally. But I’ve calmed down since reading it (lol!) and I’m okay with it. In my job I proofread various writers with differing skills and “voices,” among other things. I don’t like the writing style of all of them; I have my favorites, as everyone does. My writing resonates with some people, and it doesn’t with others. That’s okay—there’s a writer out there for everyone! 😁

I'm a reader. You probably feel like you are screaming into the void. The dumbing down of the world population is at an all-time high and our education system, as well as parents are to blame. Keep the faith. Those of us willing and able to think will continue to do so.
