The other day Dolly Parton showed up on Substack. A day later she was ranked in the top 100 across the entire platform with over 10,000 paid subscribers. She made half a million dollars in a matter of hours without writing a single word...
All of this about numbers! It is not about intelligence/smart or great work. It is all branded movement now. That is know entity. As frustrated as it is people pay for what they know. I mentioned someone I know who is a journalist, and that it’s not all that fame and glory, but as a matter of fact, she is struggling. The person I had privilege to talk with, enlightened me about the truth of the struggles of journalists and then also mentioned the appalling rise of A.I. articles, making it hard to find true authentic journalism.

I never thought I would subscribe to anyone on substack. I'm a single mom with 2 kids and little support. However, I have not found any other substack quite like yours. Just like you said, every source of information has been taken over by AI junk. But it is also brimming with lost souls who have not yet, and maybe never will, come to know our Lord and Savior. It's obvious to me we are living in the last days. I want to receive my information from someone who knows Jesus, the truth, the light, the way. I don't have much to give. I feel your pain, not that I’m a journalist, a programmer or anything like that . In the sense that Ai will be used for some of the worst things like destroying real God given gifts and talents and replacing real authentic journalism which the MSM is far from , that’s for another time. What makes me angry and sad at the same time is that this is happening more and more, I listened on the radio to a radio host saying how great an Ai piece of music was declaring it better than the real artists work. This just shows me that given time where will the real creativity come from , will it be more A1 Slop . It must be so hard to keep going but I suppose for you is the driving force that You do not want to go back to a career that you did not line.
