Well I have a story for you... It relates to an ancient altar and human sacrifice and a cultic location at, believe it or not, Jekyll Island. There's something to the idea of a tribe led by giants in the Americas. How far back it goes and where it came from, I have my ideas but little proof. All I can say is look for an old podcast interview called Canaanite Altars and the Federal Reserve with a guy named Tim Bence.
The more I dig into this topic, the more I realize that this is real and has been happening for thousands or even tens of thousands of years. The site was called "the place of the skull" most likely because of its physical appearance or because it was a known execution site outside Jerusalem's walls.
Goliath is a completely different name with entirely different linguistic roots - it's a Philistine name, possibly related to the root meaning "exile" or "soothsayer." The two words have no etymological connection whatsoever. The similarity in English is purely coincidental.
There is no historical, archaeological, or biblical record anywhere claiming that Goliath's skull was buried at Golgotha. The 1 Samuel 17:54 reference to David taking the head to Jerusalem is already problematic since Jerusalem wasn't under Israelite control at that point in the narrative. But even setting that aside, there's zero evidence connecting it to the crucifixion site centuries later.

I think in Genesis 10, they introduce Nimrod as a Giant killer. It might be in chapter 5, you are on to something for sure
