the problem is not the hierarchy but its fidelity to it, the head of the church will always be Jesus Christ but the hierarchical order was left by Jesus Christ himself in Tradition with a capital T, whoever wants to be the first must become the servant of all, the order that Jesus Christ gave to the apostles was always to watch over the salvation of souls that is why he sent them around the world to baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the problem is that clay vessels are often not well cooked in the fire of his love, that is why they are brittle, the Pope has the obligation to preserve the deposit of faith, which is the same faith in Jesus Christ that is transmitted by the two main sources the word of God in the scriptures and the word of God in Tradition, that is why I was telling you to be careful with reading the apocrypha, in case you did not know in Tradition and in scripture in Paul it is taught that if someone teaches a different gospel than whether it is one of them or an Angel, he should not be listened to.
The sacraments are real, yes they were left by Jesus Christ himself, they are not a tool of power, they are living waters of salvation, the same clergy, although not all, throughout history have tried to suppress them and change them or use them as tools of power, the problem is that paradox that it is not understandable how those who were chosen to have the seal of ministerial priest, that is, the power to make God himself Jesus Christ present on earth in the Eucharist, betray the faith and sell their inheritance for a bowl of lentils, the statistics are that there will always be 1 traitor to the faith among 12 disciples, if Judas Iscariot himself ate and lived with Christ, he betrayed him, imagine now that love has cooled, for times of crisis the statistics change and an example of this is what happened with Arius and Arianism, it will always happen until the end of the world, because we are in the end of time since Christ ascended to heaven, the strange thing is that already They do not teach these things and Tradition is not being transmitted because parents no longer transmit the tradition and allow it to be taught in supposedly Catholic or Christian schools but in reality they teach a lot of socialism or materialism without the contrast of tradition that is taught as if it were myths or fables and legends, they do not teach philosophy but history of philosophy and a very distorted one.
Friends, I apologize that this is not the brief communication I had hoped it would be regarding the insightful comment above. You see, I was an altar boy who literally had the altar rails ripped out in front of me at my Catholic grade school, where the parish priest was exposed as a malignant predator responsible for the spiritual destruction of young boys and at least one suicide. This all came out after his death. (That none of the school's parents noticed his sexual crimes, spoke out, or took action to stop him, remains a sorrowful mystery of its own.)
I went from there to a Jesuit preparatory high school and then to an honors program at a Jesuit university, where brilliant, often gay men, indoctrinated me with the syncretic heresies of Chardin, and mocked Tradition, replacing it with historical Jesus seminars. They assiduously suppressed a glorious and spiritually powerful past. No exertion was too extreme for them to erase the sacrifices in blood of the most courageous Catholic spiritual militia on the planet. The Jesuits today, who've produced over 300 martyrs, have chosen the path of worldliness instead of holiness.
Like many of my contemporaries, I found little that drew me to the new Mass or the world of what I saw as a dying Jesuit order.
But the gnawing hunger for God and Truth, mystical longings, remained. So I explored, especially the major ashrams of India, including post-Osho Pune.
I firewalked, I leaned into silent zazen meditations for days on end, I collapsed from exhaustion, chanting Sufi dikrs to beat the turbaned band.
After four sojourns in India, I drifted into every apostasy and blasphemy imaginable, especially the ones satanically engineered to transform friends of Christ into His most bitter enemies.
But He didn't give up. He worked signs and wonders in my life that would draw me to Him. They became a centrifugal force.
His whirlwind drew me to its core on the Camino del Santiago. It happened a number of years back, on the dusty trails through the Spanish heartland and into the mountains of the Basque Country.
My closest friend and I rode mountain bikes for some 700 kilometers as part of our shared 50th birthday celebration. I was almost in shape for it. Almost. My right knee swelled up painfully after a few days of the 10-day odyssey. We had paper maps. Got lost occasionally, fortunately briefly. And the whole time I prayed. "God, please enter my life. I love you, but don't know you." At the time, I was more attuned to reincarnation as our overarching soul OS, not a loving God who made me in His Image.
That pilgrimage, for so we approached it as former altar boys, kicked something loose in both of us.
Shortly thereafter, I became a father, intentionally, with great joy and trepidation. Another child followed. This "yes" to life continues to transform me, my soul, my journey to Him. It deepens with time.
He has changed me radically. Common addictions, bad habits of thought, word, and deed have fallen away in his Light. I can't really explain it.
It's a miracle.
As inexplicable to me as the microscopic reflections in the eyes of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the tilma of Juan Diego.
Or the 270 gigawatts released in nanoseconds required to create the image on the Shroud of Turin.
And at its core is the Mass, the ancient Mass of the Ages. The Tridentine Mass.
Tradition saved me where the modern Mass would have seen me damned.
That's my story. And my mortal yes to Tradition as a pathway to God.
Great article. I have read the Gospel of Thomas have it saved on my computer. This gospel makes one feel truly at peace. At least it did me. These gospels were meant to be found and why I believe that the Dead Sea Scrolls were just another deception by Rome not only to strengthen their hold on the world but also to seal up their deception of the State of Israel.
Wise Wolf, you're allot more than Holy, you have your own divine presence sharing this kind and very thoughtful, insightful (cause one to "think" and "feel") that is so "radical"!!! The "power trippers" in our religion are easy to "spot". I came to these same conclusions years ago, and MANY MORE!!!! I am nearly 100% certain that "Jesus" never said "turn the other cheek", as one is bound by TRUE LOVE and will ENGAGE EVIL IMMEDIATELY, and WE ALWAYS PROTECT THOSE DESERVING OF OUR LOVE, particularly, women, children, the elderly, and those sick!!!! (We do NOT TURN THE CHEEK, BUT IMMEDIATELY ENGAGE WITH EVIL, and in the purest way, we do so with "mind, body, heart, and SOUL!) WE ARE NOT SLAVES, but sovereign, and autonomous, without measure, "as we were made in the image of God". We sinned because we "turned away from God" through vise, and intentional hurting of others, and "JESUS" addressed this with FORGIVESS, for only those who sought it, and HIS SELF SACRIFICE! Thank you for your post, it touched me in ways you cannot imagine!
Your concept of Jesus having a twin is intriguing.
There's a church in Southern France in a small village called Rennes le Chateau dedicated to Mary Magdalene. It was renovated by a Catholic priest called Beranger Sauniere who was the center of international intrigue.
Everything about the interior of the church is unusual starting with an inscription above the entrance saying "this place is terrible".
To the left of the alter is a statue of presumably Joseph holding a baby. To the right is a statue of the Virgin Mary holding a baby. It's been argued that it can be explained by assuming that the two Childs are representative of Divine Feminine and Devine Masculine, but it could also be interpreted as twins.
Considering that this Church is in an area rich in esoteric thought and is decorated in such a controversial fashion, either conclusion is possible.
Oooo Sauniere... Such an interesting topic. To this day I wonder what he KNEW that the Catholic Church was so desperate to keep secret that they flooded his coffers with the gold needed to build Rennes le Chateau.
I always found it fascinating that he placed the inscription above the entrance, almost like it was his way of pointing out the fact the Catholic Church had more to do with pagan, Roman practices and the proliferation of EVIL than it EVER had to do with Christ.
I think my next article is going to be about this subject in fact. Thanks Ken. Appreciate the intelligent dialogue by the way.
The Holy Stoup at the entrance is equally strange. It's a grotesque statue of Asmodeus bent over with the basin of Holy water on his back. This was the same demon who helped build the temple for Solomon.
The Languedoc at other times known as Ocitania or Septimenia was rich in Cather religion. Their dualistic doctrine proposed that there were in fact two God's. One of light and the Spirit, the other being the God of the material world known as Rex Mundi
Besides the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail, may I recommend a book called
The Church of Mary Magdalene
The Sacred Feminine
And the treasure of Rennes le Chateau by Jean Markale.
If and when you read it please comment on the phrase " Viva Angelina".
It was found next to a body of an elderly preist who was confessor to Father Boudet's last testament. It was a calling card and a warning from who knows. Something very powerful.
This book fills in a lot of blanks in the story of Beranger Sauniere....
I have actually read HBHG and skimmed through the rest. I have a personal belief that the 'Viva Angelina' is an alchemical encoding for 'Long Live Inanna/Ishtar/Lilith/Divine Feminine/Scarlet Woman/Whore of Babylon.
The Cathars are an interesting footnote in the annals of history. I have done extensive research into them and still cannot figure out just who they REALLY were. Were they the remnants of the displaced Merovingian dynasty? Were they Essenes or Gnostics? A witchcraft cult? Blood-drinking Babylonian death cultists?
Why were they wiped out by the Catholic Church? They were most certainly some sort of fertility cult that sought to preserve a specific bloodline and more than likely, there were remnants that the Catholic Church was not aware of that have brought whatever their bloodline really is into the modern era.
It makes me wonder about how Revelation says the Lamb will be both the root of the seed of David and the fruit and if it is their bloodline from which this Messianic figure will be born of.
This is one of the most fascinating unsolved mysteries of theology and one that I have tried and tried to solve unsuccessfully for years.
Me too. I don't think that Viva Angelina is Alchemical. I think that it was a not so Secret Society.
I've been studying Alchemy seriously for 33 years (how appropriate) and has become more clearer recently. I have post graduate courses in chemistry, so Alchemy interested me like a moth drawn to the light.
The Church of Mary Magdalene is so much more in depth than HBHG..
I can tell you what I learned in 30 years of intense study on the topic, The Lapis Philosophorum is real... and the method of making it is the most horrifying thing you could possibly imagine. The wars of the 20th century... they were engineered specifically to bring about the creation of one. I assume that the process is not yet complete as the amount of 'material' required is... beyond all comprehension. This is the goal of these fraternal cults, to give them a weapon capable of 'fighting' God but it is a failed endeavor and they have to be aware of it but still pursue it nonetheless. The Chamber of Guf only had a tiny fraction of God's power used to fill it. There are not enough souls in existence to empower any occultist to be anywhere near the level of the Creator.
There are some particularly problematic points to consider for anyone to consider Thomas being called âthe twinâ to mean that he was Jesusâ twin.
First, we typically understand conception to be one sperm and one egg, though two sperm into one egg is theoretically possible, it is probably quite rare if it happens at all. We also typically understand the miraculous conception to be Godâs âdivine sperm of sortsâ pairing with Maryâs human egg.
For Jesus to have a twin, it would require him to be gestated and born at the same time, either as a fraternal twin by two eggs, one of which God fertilized and one of which Joseph fertilized, or as an identical twin, by one God-fertilized egg that split.
The fraternal twin scenario destroys the virgin birth narrative, which is not just hugely problematic for the Catholic Church, it is hugely, MONUMENTALLY problematic for the story God is giving us. If Mary was not certifiably a virgin, then there is no grounds for any further belief that she, nor Jesus, were anything special.
On the other hand, the identical twin scenario is problematic because now you either have an imposter Jesus running around, or you have someone with the full divinity and power as Jesus but who does nothing with it. Even worse, you now have a situation that destroys the credibility of the Resurrection, because who would believe Jesus had risen from the dead if he had an identical twin, especially one who also had powers?
This just seem like the tip of the iceberg as to why Thomas may have been called âTwinâ or nicknamed âthe twinâ, but he certainly was not a twin brother of Jesus, unless he was a twin of one of Jesusâ younger brothers. To imply anything more undermines Godâs word by undermining the Resurrection and the virgin birth.
Thank you for taking the time to write such an eloquent and thoughtful response. I appreciate that you did not fall into the usual âI am right because you are wrongâ posture that so often dominates these discussions, but instead presented a reasoned dialogue.
You are right to point out the biological difficulties that arise in considering Thomas as the literal twin of Christ. However, it is worth noting that what you described as âtwo sperm into one eggâ is not quite the only possibility. There is in fact a phenomenon known as superfecundation, where twins can be conceived of different fathers if two eggs are fertilized in close succession. While rare, it is medically attested. This opens the door to unusual twinship scenarios that would not necessarily require a âdivine cloneâ or an imposter, but instead something far stranger.
The puzzle deepens when we consider why Thomas was explicitly called âthe twinâ in both Greek (Didymus) and Hebrew (Tâoma). It was not a passing nickname, but an identity marker repeated enough to stick. Early church traditions even claimed that Thomas was literally Christâs twin brother. If the writers only meant that he resembled Jesus spiritually, the dual-language insistence on âthe twinâ seems excessive.
I would wager that Christ and Thomas were superfecundation twins, which means they would be true twins, though not identical. Most people hear the word âtwinâ and immediately assume identical, without pausing to consider the very real possibility of fraternal twinship instead.
The Bible itself constantly places twins at moments of spiritual upheaval. Jacob and Esau, Perez and Zerah, even the possibility that Cain and Abel were twins, with Cain begotten by Lucifer and Abel by Adam. Many scholars through the centuries have suggested this reading, and I personally find it persuasive after decades of study. In that light, the Thomas tradition may fit into a larger biblical pattern of divine or contested twinship.
We also see this mirrored outside of the Bible. In Zoroastrianism, the divine being gives rise to twin sons, one good and one evil, locked in eternal rivalry over creation. The archetype of the divine twins seems to cross cultures and faiths, as if humanity has always intuited something profound about dual birth and divided destiny.
So while you are correct that the virgin birth doctrine creates serious complications if taken literally in this context, the persistent witness of scripture, tradition, and even comparative religion suggests that the Thomas-as-twin mystery may not be dismissed so easily. At the very least, it remains an enigma worth wrestling with rather than closing off as an impossibility.
Thank you again for your response. It is a rare thing to encounter someone willing to reason this out carefully instead of defaulting to mockery or dismissal.
I ve been reading and not commenting a couple of your article, but since here is written you would like to hear different interpretation ill give it a go. No offense please since we arent of the exact same mentality on faith thus it seem. Here go:
Last article was written: uncovering the greatest cover up of christianity.
To that i think christianity itself is the biggest cover up on earth. All religions in the coverup.
Taking its root faith and purifying it by finding deeper connection in it is still the same faith. Going from nagamadhi teaching of thomas from codex bible is playing in the same field. Freemasons use these schism in there advancement playbook to conquer civilization. Like protestant once was used by the orangiste for that same purpose.
I would suggest reading nina livesey on paul letters, most of the biblical scholar of mythvision podcast, richard carrier on codex chronologies etc...then if they could refute all this is nonsense and creation of us to subdue the masses. In wich way a continuity of the same design wouldnt serve the same plan?
Here is another book talking in depth of the nephilim and such colletaring old scripture you are sharing us and bible. Its: genesis conspiracy by gary wayne i found lots of good info into this. And yet i still have many doubts about the giant lore.
From what i rade your grandma is great, but she was wary a lot of the watchers. She took it really seriously, thus could she buildt that world? Like manasapultra or egregore like? And feed your whole spirit with it? Fear is a great creator of human mind as hope is. One builds dream, the other nightmare.
In quebec we got a man like this, named richard gleen, same focus but on aliens abduction... he turned out to be a pillar of our society and really good hearted helpfull man...but he still is wrong about what he lived when he was young ( abduction, turn out to be mkultra testing on us) the good of that man ( and your grandma ) is still there, but maybe they wrong in how they are right, and thats what i feel about you reading us the thomas scripture.
Now i end with my interpretation of all parabole simply put:
- they are all double sided message, one for the sheep one for the sheperd. Reading this depending on wich one you are feeds you with the quality needed to be good and obedient blind and deaf thinking you see and hear right (sheep) and evil controlling all ominscient like evil elites (sheperd) and bonus! Its also a perfect playbook on how to conquer teritory and all in it. Thank you Rome đ
What i see is we are here comparing bible to codex bible, its really similar to what most apologetics do, staying in their field so the others reality dont interfere with lots of leads towards what i am bringing today.
As i see someone of a faith wanting to validate that faith, if you ever achieve that, you then proove all other zealots are wrong. In my opinion that is the right ending deduction, but for literaly ALL the scriptures of any given faith. And i am not an atheist. I am...i dunno call me an agnostic gnostic like tereza corragio lol, i am an heretics stoic man. I dont really care what i am, i never cared of meself, but i do care of the world we share.
Im the kind of guy who dare look both side of the coin, i got one foot in tartarus and one in the holy land. Here is something i watched from the darkside of the world. I wonder if your able to go trough and give me your take on the claims in it.
Btw: if that freaked you out DONT watch lady babylone of PhD david ammon hillman
I am NOT promoting that video it is full of flaws and propaganda. ( kinda false since im sharing it now) but you see, i want any opinion on that for sure. You seem knowledgefull in scripture, and you dared looked into nagamadhi with a cleanse eye. So try this storyline and come back at me with your take on it.
Btw, be fair, dont use your intern group of scholar and consider your talking to a lonely old man working by its ownself on every plan. I want the take of the decendant of that mystical grandma please. Thank you.
Good question. Let me do a little research on this...
(5 Minutes Later)
The Gospel of Thomas was almost certainly circulating in Greek by 200 CE, but many scholars argue its core sayings tradition could go back to midâ1st century (60â90 CE), contemporaneous with or even before some canonical texts.
Thatâs interesting. They are very close to Jesusâ sayings in the canon, but as you point out, there are slight differences that change the meaning. They sound a little like Gnosticism, but I am not a scholar in this area.
The Nag Hammadi texts are considered 'Gnostic' but I feel that that is not relevant to the text in this case. There are other, stranger works that are fully Gnostic that I do not exactly feel are 'inspired' but more 'cultish' in their explanation of Creation. I have read these works multiple times but I do not ever cite them as 'Scripture' because they get into some extremely 'esoteric' beliefs that I personally do not share. The fact that the Gospel of St. Thomas is corroborated by the New Testament gospels ad particular gravitas to the validity of the Parables that do not appear in traditional canon. It is a beautiful work that should have been part of the New Testament from the start.
I greatly appreciate this article as a simple human who runs on my own instincts/divine guidance. Organized religion always failed to make me feel protected, sacred or whole. I feel itâs manipulative and controlling. This speaks to the truth I always knew deep down to be true.
Excellent column, and love this information. Confirms what I have believed for years. Is it possible to secure a copy of Thomas' book somewhere? I would love to read the totality of his writings. đ
the problem is not the hierarchy but its fidelity to it, the head of the church will always be Jesus Christ but the hierarchical order was left by Jesus Christ himself in Tradition with a capital T, whoever wants to be the first must become the servant of all, the order that Jesus Christ gave to the apostles was always to watch over the salvation of souls that is why he sent them around the world to baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the problem is that clay vessels are often not well cooked in the fire of his love, that is why they are brittle, the Pope has the obligation to preserve the deposit of faith, which is the same faith in Jesus Christ that is transmitted by the two main sources the word of God in the scriptures and the word of God in Tradition, that is why I was telling you to be careful with reading the apocrypha, in case you did not know in Tradition and in scripture in Paul it is taught that if someone teaches a different gospel than whether it is one of them or an Angel, he should not be listened to.

It's not a weapon, it's God's greatest gift reserved only for the most righteous.
Of course evil would like to get it's hands on it. Unlimited wealth and life prolonged in perfect health for 1000 years
The path to the closest truth is narrow. Thank you, for your contributions to help widen it.

Thank you.

What year is the Gospel of Thomas purported to be written, given the language of the time and carbon dating?
It is a beautiful work that should have been part of the New Testament from the start.
as with The Didache
The Bible as we know it was assembled before the Council Of Nicaea.
I greatly appreciate this article as a simple human who runs on my own instincts/divine guidance. Organized religion always failed to make me feel protected, sacred or whole. I feel itâs manipulative and controlling. This speaks to the truth I always knew deep down to be true.
Thank you.
Excellent column, and love this information. Confirms what I have believed for years. Is it possible to secure a copy of Thomas' book somewhere? I would love to read the totality of his writings. đ
