The sun ain’t even up yet and I’m already hard. Not that kind of hard, you perverts. Badge hard. Gun hard. The kind of hard that comes from knowing you are the thin line between order and chaos in this godforsaken wasteland they call America.

Name’s FAFO. Judge FAFO. The boys in the precinct say it stands for something but I never bothered to learn what. Don’t need to know. Don’t need to know nothing except one thing.

I AM THE LAW.

I pull my unmarked vehicle onto Maple Street. Nice neighborhood. Picket fences. American flags. The kind of place where criminals hide in plain sight, pretending to be citizens, pretending to belong. But I know better. I can smell illegal from three blocks away. It’s a gift.

I see him. White male. Mid-forties. Walking a dog. A chihuahua. My blood runs cold.

Chihuahua. CHEE-WA-WA! You hear that? That’s Mexican. That’s a Mexican dog. Could be an illegal immigrant dog. Could be smuggling drugs in its tiny little body. Could be a cartel dog. You don’t know. I don’t know. Nobody knows. That’s why we have judges. That’s why we have me.

I AM THE LAW.

I don’t call for backup. Don’t need it. I grab my AR-15, pull my balaclava over my face. Can’t let them see my face. Can’t let them know who I am. That’s how the terrorists win. I learned that in training. All six weeks of it.

I approach the target. “STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM!”

The man turns. Confused. They’re always confused. That’s how you know they’re guilty. Innocent people are never confused when armed masked men scream at them at dawn.

“I’m just walking my dog,” he says. “I live here. I’m a veteran. I served two tours in Ira—”

I don’t hear the rest. Don’t need to. Veteran? That’s what they all say. Everyone’s a veteran these days. Everyone’s got a story. Everyone’s got an excuse. You know what I got?

I AM THE LAW.

The chihuahua barks at me. Aggressive. Hostile. Probably trained to attack federal agents. Probably got rabies. Probably smuggling fentanyl in its stomach. I can’t take that risk. I won’t take that risk. Not on my watch. Not in my America.

“Sir, please, I don’t understand what’s happening. Can I see your badge? Can I see a warrant? I have rights—”

Rights. There’s that word again. You know what rights get you in Mega-City One? Rights get you a body bag. Rights are for lawyers and liberals and people who don’t understand that sometimes you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette. Sometimes you gotta break a few veterans to make America great again.

I feel the weight of my sidearm. Feel its power. Feel its truth. This gun has never lied to me. This gun has never let me down. This gun understands me in ways no woman ever could. We are one, this gun and me. We are justice.

I AM THE LAW.

The man reaches into his pocket. Going for a weapon. Has to be. Why else would someone reach into their pocket? To get their wallet? To show ID? That’s exactly what a criminal would want me to think.

I don’t hesitate. Can’t hesitate. Hesitation is death. I pull the trigger.

The man falls. The chihuahua runs away. Probably back to Mexico. Probably to report to the cartel. I’ll get that dog. Someday. But not today. Today I got something better. Today I got another criminal off the streets. Today I protected America.

I stand over the body. Two tours in Iraq, he said. Father of three, the neighbors will say later. Pillar of the community. Never hurt anyone. Just walking his dog.

Doesn’t matter. None of it matters. You know why?

I AM THE LAW.

I don’t call an ambulance. Don’t need to. My job is enforcement, not medicine. Let someone else clean up the mess. I got places to be. Schools to raid. Churches to infiltrate. Hospitals to stake out. The criminals are everywhere, hiding behind their “citizenship” and their “constitutional rights” and their “due process.”

But I see through it all. I see the truth. And the truth is simple…

DISCLAIMER: The preceding section is purely satirical fiction. It is not intended to mock any individual or make light of real tragedy. It is intended to highlight a disturbing reality: what I just described as dystopian comic book fantasy is not far removed from what is actually happening right now in the United States of America. When I was a kid, I read Judge Dredd comics and thought they were wild exaggerations of authoritarian police states. I never imagined I would live to see my own country start to resemble them. The following is not fiction.

The following is documented fact.

This Is Not a Comic Book

I have voted Republican in every election since I was old enough to vote. I worked as a tech stock analyst for a Taiwanese billionaire CEO. I have spent two decades around the wealthy and powerful. I am not a liberal. I am not a Democrat. I am not “woke.” I am a concerned American who no longer recognizes his own political party, and who cannot shake the feeling that something very, very wrong is happening in this country.

When I sat down to research Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in 2025, I expected to find aggressive enforcement. I expected to find some overreach. What I found instead kept me awake at night. What I found reads less like American law enforcement and more like the playbook of every authoritarian secret police force in modern history.

I am not going to tell you what to think. I am going to present you with facts. Documented, verified facts. And then I am going to show you what those facts look like when placed side by side with the Gestapo, the NKVD, the Stasi, and the Tonton Macoutes. You can draw your own conclusions.

There is an illegal immigrant problem in this country that needs addressed but a masked, machine-gun toting army of thugs is not the answer we need and I cannot be the only Republican that sees this.

The Facts on the Ground

In 2025, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents began operating in ways that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. Agents now routinely wear balaclavas and face masks that conceal their identities. They carry military-grade weapons including AR-15 rifles and full tactical gear for what are ostensibly civil immigration matters. They have reversed longstanding policy and now conduct operations in schools, churches, courthouses, and hospitals. They have targeted cities with Democratic mayors who publicly rejected ICE presence, including Newark, Chicago, Denver, and New York City. They have threatened to arrest local elected officials for non-cooperation. On September 18, 2025, fifteen elected Democratic officials in New York were mass arrested by ICE.

In the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, ICE deported a man to El Salvador despite a federal court order protecting him under the Convention Against Torture. The administration refused to comply with the court order. As of January 2026, he remains in El Salvador. When the executive branch of government openly defies the judicial branch, we have a word for that. It is not “law enforcement.” It is “fascism”.

On September 8, 2025, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that ICE may engage in racial profiling in the Los Angeles area. Agents can now target individuals for speaking Spanish, appearing to be of certain racial or ethnic backgrounds, holding jobs commonly filled by undocumented workers, or simply being spotted at car washes, bus stops, or day laborer sites.

Stephen Miller, the homeland security advisor, ordered agents to arrest a minimum of three thousand people per day nationwide. He instructed ICE to stop using target lists and instead “go out on the street” to detain people at Home Depots and 7-Elevens. The Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank not known for liberal sympathies, documented a three-fold increase in the targeting of Hispanic Americans following this directive.

Tom Homan, the so-called “border czar,” stated publicly that ICE may detain people “based on the location, their occupation, their physical appearance, their actions like... the person walks away.” On August 13, 2025, Homan claimed, “President Trump doesn’t have a limitation on his authority to make this country safe. There’s no limitation.”

Read that again. “No limitation.” Those are the words of a man who either does not understand the Constitution of the United States or does not care about it.

As of October 2025, the United States government is not tracking the number of detained or missing citizens. Let that sink in. The government is conducting mass arrests and does not bother to track how many of its own citizens it has swept up in the process. Thirty-two people died in immigration detention in 2025 alone, making it the deadliest year in two decades.

The Historical Parallels

I did not want to write this section. I know how it sounds. I know that comparisons to Nazi Germany are overused and often hysterical. But I also know history. And I cannot look at what is happening and pretend I do not see the patterns.

The Gestapo operated outside judicial oversight.

They arrested without warrants. They detained without trial. They were exempt from prosecution. They used plainclothes agents. They employed “protective custody” without proving any threat in court. Local police were required to cooperate or face consequences.

The NKVD conducted mass arrests and deportations. They engaged in extrajudicial killings under state authority. They targeted ethnic minorities and political dissidents. Local officials who refused to cooperate were arrested. They answered directly to Stalin with no judicial oversight. They deported people to foreign territories with no legal process. They had quotas for arrests.

The Stasi kept files on one-third of the population. They infiltrated every institution. They conducted arrests at workplaces, schools, and homes. They operated through networks of informants. They created a culture of fear where citizens were afraid to speak freely.

The Tonton Macoutes were paramilitaries operating outside the regular military and police. They wore no official uniforms. They used masks and sunglasses to hide their identities. They had broad authority to “maintain order.” They targeted political opponents. They operated with impunity and answered to no legal authority.

Now look at ICE in 2025. Concealed agent identities. Military weapons for civil enforcement. Operations in sensitive locations. Targeting opposition jurisdictions. Threatening non-cooperating officials. Defying court orders. Extrajudicial killings. Daily arrest quotas. Racial profiling authorized by the Supreme Court. Citizens afraid to access institutions. Not tracking detained or disappeared citizens.

Every single box is checked. Every single pattern matches. This is not hyperbole. This is not hysteria. This is documented fact compared to documented history.

They Are Arresting Our Veterans

If nothing else in this article moves you, let this section burn into your memory. The United States government is arresting, detaining, and deporting the men and women who wore its uniform and fought its wars.

George Retes

United States citizen. Army veteran. Born in California. During the Camarillo farm raids on July 10, 2025, Retes was pepper sprayed, dragged from his car, and detained for three days. He was never asked for identification. He missed his daughter’s third birthday while sitting in a detention cell. His crime? Being in the wrong place with the wrong skin color.

Rodrick Johnson

United States citizen. Military veteran. On September 30, 2025, during “Operation Midway Blitz,” federal agents rappelled from Black Hawk helicopters onto a Chicago apartment complex at one in the morning. They threw flashbangs at families. Johnson was dragged from his home, zip-tied, and detained for nearly three hours. When he asked for an attorney, they ignored him.

Marcos Leao

United States citizen. Army veteran. Twenty-seven years old. On June 13, 2025, Leao was detained at the Wilshire Federal Building by United States Marines stationed there under orders from Donald Trump. His crime? He was on his way to a Veterans Affairs office and crossed a yellow-tape boundary.

Sae Joon Park

Purple Heart recipient. Shot in combat in Panama in 1989. Came to America at age seven from South Korea. Joined the Army at nineteen. PTSD from combat led to drug charges. He had deferred action status as a veteran for years. In June 2025, after ICE gave him an ultimatum, he self-deported to South Korea rather than be dragged away in chains. Before the 2024 election, an immigration officer warned him: “If Trump wins, you’ll be at risk.” He was right.

Godfrey Wade

Jamaica-born. Army veteran. Lived in the United States for fifty-two years. In September 2025, Wade was detained after a traffic stop for failure to use a turn signal. He is sixty-five years old. He spent nearly two weeks sleeping on the floor of the Stewart Detention Center due to overcrowding. Sewage water on the ground. Two working urinals for eighty detainees. As of December 2025, he remains in detention. His daughter says he does not want his grandchildren to see him behind plexiglass.

In April 2025, ICE issued a memo stating explicitly that “honorable discharge does not prevent an alien from being subject to immigration enforcement.” They stripped veterans of the limited protections they had. They said out loud, in writing, that serving this country means nothing to them.

Sixty Democratic members of Congress demanded a list of all veterans deported or detained in 2025. The September 16 deadline was missed. The October 17 deadline was missed. As of January 2026, no response has been provided.

The government does not want you to know how many veterans it has thrown away.

Estimates suggest ninety-four thousand veterans currently lack United States citizenship. Estimates suggest ten thousand veterans were deported between January and June of 2025 alone. ICE does not report the veteran status of deportees, so the real number is unknown. They are not tracking it. They do not want to track it.

The Secretary Who Cannot Tell the Truth

Kristi Noem is the Secretary of Homeland Security. Under oath before Congress, she stated: “Sir, we have not deported U.S. citizens or military veterans.”

She was immediately shown a video of Sae Joon Park, a Purple Heart recipient, whom her agency had deported. On live television. Under oath.

She had just committed perjury, and she did not even flinch.

This is the person in charge of the largest law enforcement apparatus in the United States. A woman who will look at documented evidence of her own agency’s actions and deny it happened. A woman who was Governor of South Dakota before being handed control of an agency with a two-hundred-billion-dollar budget and the power to detain, deport, and kill American citizens. Her qualifications for this position do not include any significant law enforcement experience, any intelligence background, or any demonstrated expertise in homeland security. What she does have is loyalty to the administration and a willingness to say whatever needs to be said, truth be damned.

When the head of an agency lies under oath about that agency’s actions, and nothing happens, we are no longer living under the rule of law. We are living under the rule of whoever has the most guns and the least conscience.

The Question You Should Be Asking

I have read the historical accounts. I have compared the patterns. And I cannot escape a question that haunts me.

The Nazi Party did not appear out of nowhere. It was funded. It was organized. It was promoted by wealthy industrialists who saw opportunity in chaos. The Thule Society bankrolled Hitler’s early rise. They used propaganda techniques that would later be studied and replicated around the world. They divided the population against itself. They created enemies where none existed. They promised to restore national greatness while systematically dismantling the institutions that made the nation worth saving.

I look at what is happening in America and I wonder. The division that feels manufactured. The media that feels captured. The billionaires who own everything and fund everyone. The propaganda that feels coordinated. The speed with which constitutional norms are being discarded. The pattern is familiar. Too familiar.

I am not saying Nazis have infiltrated the government. I am saying that someone has studied how authoritarian movements take power, and someone is following that playbook with disturbing precision. Whether they call themselves Nazis or nationalists or populists or patriots does not matter. What matters is what they do. And what they are doing looks an awful lot like what has been done before, in places that did not end well.

This Is Not About Left or Right

I need you to understand something. This is not a liberal article. This is not a conservative article.

This is an American article.

Remember: The average working-class Republican has more in common with the average working-class Democrat than either of them has with the billionaires who are trying to destroy Democracy.

We are being divided on purpose. We are being set against each other on purpose. We are being distracted with pronouns and border walls and culture wars while the people with real power build systems that will make our opinions irrelevant.

When they can arrest veterans without consequence, they can arrest you. When they can ignore court orders, they can ignore your rights. When they can shoot unarmed mothers and call it justified, they can shoot anyone. The machinery being built right now does not care about your party registration. It does not care about your voting history. It does not care about your loyalty. It cares about compliance.

We can stop this. But only if we stop fighting each other and start fighting the people who are actually taking our freedom. They want us divided. They need us divided. A united population cannot be controlled. That is why they spend billions keeping us at each other’s throats.
