Most of the time I like reading your posts, but this one, not so much. I live in very rural Iowa. Closest town is a population of 200. County seat is 20 minutes away with one grocery store and a population of slightly over 2,400 people. I moved here 14 years ago from a metro area of over 100,000 people. I love it here. My wife’s idea. As we were getting close to retirement my wife said to me, “we don’t want to be living in a city of 100,000 when TSHTF. After I started paying attention to what was going on in the world, I realized she was right. So we bought some land, built a home and started farming. I raise livestock and hay and I love it here. And so do my 2 German Shepards who roam free. The Amish are my neighbors. So I don’t take kindly to being put down where I live. We don’t have TV. So I read all my news including your posts. I pretty much agree with you on Trump. But you better start taking some natural classes on how to take care of yourself or you’re going to be pushing up daisies before your Pa. And when you move back to Florida I pity you. Cause when TSHTF….well good luck. Praying for “needing to be wiser” Wolf 🙏
I grew up on a farm. To you it's something new and interesting. To me it's 18 years of waking up at 3am to slop hogs and feed chickens.
I am not trying to offend anyone. I am just burned out on this lifestyle. A hobby farm would be fun and I am envious of you for having one but I grew up on a dairy farm and it was a nightmare. I am still cleaning hay out of my buttcrack 30 years later. (If you have ever bailed hay as a kid, you will know what I mean.) Take care! Thanks for subbing! - WW
I plan to watch all 21 videos of that documentary. I’m 82 years old and have escaped most of the programming that nearly everyone I know has embraced. I became a “rebellious thinker” at an early age and it has served me well. Maybe the documentary will give me a clue how that happened.
