Great article. Based on your analysis, though, are we already past the Overton window? This fail-proof playbook that has successfully collapsed every preceding major empire is working quite well, yet again. Americans are sick, angry, tired, under-educated about the things that matter, bound by invisible chains. It's not their fault, they literally cannot see because they've had blinders on their whole lives, and they are being cinched tighter by the day.
Despite all that, I agree with your conclusion. Let's keep talking to people that make us uncomfortable. Let's have empathy for each other, because it's HARD to be a force of one against a power imbalance that is crushing. It's hard for someone working multiple jobs to find the time to defend themselves against all this, to research the veracity of everything that comes out of the news and the mouths of their leaders, and to have strength in the face of the insidious ways they are taken advantage of.

I read those posts and saw some of the scurrilous replies and rants. I did not fully understand where you were going with those posts, thanks for clarifying. I have been "Anti-Party" for some time now. I will say that the indoctrination and control of the masses is nearer than ever before.

I have refused to be assimilated into the political Borg since I went to Cuba and realized everything I had been indoctrinated with was a calculated lie. Thought globally, acted locally. But it’s a tempting trap to treat political will like a light switch. Either turned on or turned off. Problem is that keeps you from wondering who’s paying the electric bill and whether it’s nuclear or solar powering the grid. We’re so micro focused that the macro escapes our notice. Just as the ants in the ant farm might not notice our shadows as we spectate their seemingly productive existence. Until we feed them poison or block the exits or send in an invasive species. That’s how the elites view us, as a social experiment where they control the resources, the inputs and the outcomes. Mainstream media is really the Fear Factor on just about every channel. Over reporting violence in our communities by thousands of percentage points to make us disbelieve our own experience when we don’t step into an actual war zone every time we leave home.
Elon Musk is Big Brother. Thank you for pointing out technocracy and its perilous designs on humanity. That’s an actual horror story being played out in real time, not just on the platform formerly known as Twitter. AI poses an existential threat. A lot of this is designed to distract US from that end game, which is why DJT can get away with playing hide and seek with the Epstein Files and disguise his underground data center/bunker as a gd ballroom. There’s your bread and circus. 🎪
I hope the answer is to build community and undermine authority productively, because it’s not enough just to change the narrative. Love thy neighbor, keep the conversation civil and make sure you’re looking out for one another. We’re all we’ve got. Divided we are conquered, united we are legion.
