Hey. I was born in Venezuela. in 1989 my parents had about $300,000 and by 1990 our savings had plummetted to $100,000 because of inflation and the collapsing Bolivar. Since we left, the situation in Venezuela never got better. Chavez rewrote the constitution to centralize power. After Maduro inherited the presidency, things only got worse. While the USA built the infrastructure of the oil industry in venezuela (PDVSA) after Chavez took over they expelled the western technicians and over time oil production deminished and the infrastructure deteriorated.
That is not all of it. There is so much more that includes Iran, Russia and China pillaging resources including the oil. The Venezuelan people saw no benefit from this while an authoritarian dictatorship / narco-state kidnapped the country for over 25 years effectively running into the ground. This caused the second largest refugee displacement on the planet next to Syria with over 8 million + venezuelans fleeing the country to survive. This doesn't even count the thousands of people that were murdered, imprisoned, barred and exiled just for speaking out against the regime. I believe that after a 25+ year kidnapping that Maduro was not kidnapped he was arrested or extradited but certainly not kidnapped. I feel that this language is manipulative and completely downplays the fact that Venezuela was(is) an occupied state. Venezuela is already invaded and Trump removed the kidnapper.

When it comes to the oil it is important to understand that I fully understand this is probably more about the oil than anything else but I assure you that while Venezuela is not producing drugs it is a main corridor for drug trafficking (and much worse, such as human trafficking) because Maduro does what he wants completely unchecked. One thing is for certain: The last 3 presidents were 100% in agreeance with eachother about Maduro because they put bounties on him.

Maduro remains in power via military loyalty, political repression and election manipulation.

Grace without Truth produces cheap Grace, which cannot save. Truth without Grace produces legalism, which cannot save. Both are equally important to us humans. Just as Faith without Deeds is dead, so too is Grace without Truth dead.
Truth precedes Grace. Was there a need for Grace before angels and humans? Do not Christians first admit the Truth about themselves, before receiving the Grace of salvation? Before, and outside of time, does God need Grace? Remember, God IS Truth. God is also love, from where Grace proceeds. Yet, Truth precedes Grace.
Today, most people think God is mostly about Grace and not so much about Truth. That is a lie. God gives us Grace, so we can get back to Truth. Once we are back in Heaven with God, we will live an existence of Truth, and Grace will not be needed like it is today.

Since we left, the situation in Venezuela never got better. Chavez rewrote the constitution to centralize power. After Maduro inherited the presidency, things only got worse. While the USA built the infrastructure of the oil industry in venezuela (PDVSA) after Chavez took over they expelled the western technicians and over time oil production deminished and the infrastructure deteriorated.
That is not all of it. There is so much more that includes Iran, Russia and China pillaging resources including the oil. The Venezuelan people saw no benefit from this while an authoritarian dictatorship / narco-state kidnapped the country for over 25 years effectively running into the ground. This caused the second largest refugee displacement on the planet next to Syria with over 8 million + venezuelans fleeing the country to survive. This doesn't even count the thousands of people that were murdered, imprisoned, barred and exiled just for speaking out against the regime. I believe that after a 25+ year kidnapping that Maduro was not kidnapped he was arrested or extradited but certainly not kidnapped. I feel that this language is manipulative and completely downplays the fact that Venezuela was(is) an occupied state. Venezuela is already invaded and Trump removed the kidnapper.
