A six year old spent her birthday in federal custody and a man on Substack with a cross as his profile pic told me she deserved it. That pissed me off enough to write this article.
Had a guy leave the following comment on here and he deleted it as soon as he saw my reply and I want to make sure other people get a chance to see what sort of cruelty exists in the hearts of mankind...
'Put the responsibility on the parent. ICE makes mistakes. However, there are 20 million illegal aliens here. They need to go. Every follower of Islam must be deported. They violate our Constitution by being here. This is a do gooder plea for sympathy that I do not have . Where are her Grand parents? where is her supporting evidence that she should not be deported?'
Nobody accidentally holds a kid for six months. That is hundreds of adults looking at a six year old every day and deciding she stays.

My Jesus would not be allowed in my church because His feet might stain the carpet. He sounds like the lead singer of Nickelback. October 7 was an inside job just like 9/11. All done by Jews. A Reverend in America or England left his church open so the homeless could sleep in it out of the cold. He gave them showers and meals. The Priest is now being fined $500,000 for not having a licence. We ought to pray for him. Heard other bad things that go on in the Detention centers. A woman was bleeding out from having a miscarriage, young girls are getting pregnant. Some they say by Ice Agents. The food has worms and mold in it. An Israeli soldier on Facebook admitted to shooting babies and children. I hate reading some of the comments that say Good, I hope all the children die. A couple of rabbis are quoted as saying that they want all the goyim/gentiles killed in Europe and America. A very sad state of affairs indeed and it is only going to get worse until Jesus comes back. Keep praying and believing.

But compassion for a child doesn't mean we can ignore the choices the adults made.
I have compassion for this little girl. I also have compassion for the people who are trying to enforce the laws of this country. And I don't pretend to have the perfect answer to the very complicated issues surrounding immigration, asylum, detention, and children.
But I do think we need to be honest about something: every nation has immigration laws and processes for entering and remaining in the country. Adults who knowingly cross a border unlawfully have to understand that their decisions can have consequences—not just for themselves, but for their children.
And when a five-year-old is involved, the situation becomes even more complicated. She can't simply be “released.” She is a child. Someone has to take legal responsibility for her safety and care. Until an appropriate and safe placement can be established, the government has a responsibility to protect her.
That doesn't mean I believe a child should suffer. It means I don't believe we should reduce an incredibly complicated issue to a sentimental question about her birthday.
We can have compassion for the child, hold adults accountable for their decisions, support lawful immigration, and still recognize that our immigration system needs thoughtful solutions for children caught in circumstances they didn't choose.
I don't have all the answers. I suspect none of us do. But pretending there is a simple answer doesn't help this little girl—or the many other children caught in similar situations.

I think the hard part of having anything to do with Christianity is explaining how you’re not like a certain variety. The situation your describing with the little girl, being with her family in an ICE facility for six months, although tragic, was brought about by a corrupt administration that instituted a four-year open border policy completely contrary to every immigration law and policy we had on the books in 2021-2025. The situation she found herself in, and countless thousands or others (could we even say millions?), was brought about by a LAW BREAKING PRESIDENTIAL USURPER. His assignment was to create discord, chaos, and human suffering for four years. He was extremely successful.
EVERY nation has borders… by definition you can’t have a “nation” without them. ALL nations protect their borders. Ever tried to sneak into China or North Korea? Really, who would want to… but that’s not the point. The point is national borders define the shape and surface area of a country. A benevolent nation secures their borders to protect the citizenry from harm by invaders. A police state (nation) secures their borders to keep the citizenry inside. Either way a border has BORDER GUARDS to keep people in or out.
My first wife (now deceased) came to this country in the late 1970’s… on a Green immigration card… I was her sponsor. She later became a naturalized citizen. Do you know the mountains of paperwork we had to go through to get that initial green card and get her legally in the country? No.. most people haven’t a clue. Trust me… it was inches thick. To bring her here legally. So she wouldn’t become a drag on the citizens of THIS country. The government made me responsible for her and she cost no one here a penny to house or feed.
So… back to the little girl and all like her that came here with her family because an evil man in the White House said it was OK. He is responsible for taking care of all these hundreds of thousands he allowed to come here… and paid most of them to boot. Jesus Christ says we are to love people and help whoever we can. At the same time he established nations after the Great Flood. Nations must have laws… otherwise there’s complete chaos. O’Biden circumvented immigration laws that would have prevented the situation described in this article. MAN’S SIN CAUSED THIS PROBLEM AND IT WILL ONLY BE STRAIGHTENED OUT FROM A HUMANITARIAN STANDPOINT WHEN JESUS RETURNS. Until then we help whoever we can… when we can. I wrote the same kind of emails and argued with my church but they turned a deaf ear to me. I don’t understand how somebody who reads the Bible and has been doing Bible study for so many years are ok with children getting shot at in schools but care about their second amendment rights more and don’t think both of them are connected. While at the same time letting innocent mothers die in parking lots because somebody told them unborn babies ought to be protected. They read about eunuchs in the Bible who have been made to be so but somehow a person who claims he feels that he belongs to the opposite sex sounds like sinner to them. Jesus said to look at the block of wood in their own eyes before they try to remove their neighbors dirt, but somehow that didn’t register one bit. “If they don’t conform to my idea of how a person ought to be, they don’t belong in my land.” Period! Doesn’t matter if it is a six year old or a grown man who went out to celebrate his son’s varsity induction. Whether he committed a crime or simply defaulted on his document updating! They all belong in alligator land!
