Luckily my sister (a "churchy" at the time and just beginning to study theology, she now has her masters and did trips to archeology sites to interpret scrolls as they were pulling them out of the ground until the current war began) gave me some lines about jesus christ having the power in my life and over this demon too (i was not a churchy, far from it but i was desperate) which i managed to tell the demon and poof, he was gone, forever. Not surprisingly this ended up being the start of my christian journey and within 10 years i was being baptised by full immersion.
