Excellent. Anyone who thinks that the CIA does not run the cartels needs to look into Mena, Arkansas and the Clinton Connection. These entities have always been fostered and manipulated by the Deep State branch of Corporate America. We are well on our way to "you will own nothing and be happy" or "you will be evaluated by AI and found to be unnecessary." The genie is out of the bottle, the clock is running.
I want to push back on your assertion that there are jobs no American wants. There are jobs no American can afford to take. These Agro businesses ( like many businesses that rely on low skill labor) make billions in profits yet wages have stagnated across the board. One could argue that the mass importation of migrants and illegals has allowed that wage stagnation to persist and has concentrated capital in few hands. There are many people who would do those jobs if a. They paid well and b. We didn’t have a university industrial complex that spends its time and money disparaging “dirty jobs” and manual labor —Anything really that doesn’t require their services. Recall there was a time when steel production , meat packing and coal mining were respected well paid jobs that served as the cornerstone of communities. And today many parents of teenagers would be ecstatic to see their child working In fields away from smart phones, appreciative of where their food comes from and aware of the value of a dollar. This constant drumbeat of “jobs nobody wants” is what will bring the robots. The drumbeat we need is “living wages for living people” and we as individuals need to start looking at the obscenely wealthy with derision and disgust— you know, the way we’ve been told to look at low skill labor.
This sounds like a dystopian nightmare. You're intentionally creating an entire underclass of serfs. You *do* understand that the "them" in question are actual human beings with rights, yes?
I agree with your thought process. The issue is college has been shoved in faces as the only way to get ahead. Never mind trades, never mind hard work (physical). There are plenty of capable people to do the work in the fields etc but they’re home on the governments dime. America has become complacent. Field workers from Mexico would come work fields and then go home not stay and demand we cater to them. I’ve seen the progression having grown up in agricultural areas and my raised my family in one as well. There was a shift. I’ve no issue with people coming to our country LEGALLY and being productive citizens. I have a problem with illegals. I have a problem catering to them and paying their way with tax dollars. There are plenty of legal citizens that work in warehouses, slaughter houses, mines, etc. They typically work their way up over time or onto other jobs. I think kids should know hard labor. Learn skills that college doesn’t teach. I think there would be a lot more gratitude for what they have.
Did no one watch Trump being interviewed outside the Ford plant? The reporter said that the CEO limited that he had at least 5000 jobs that he couldn’t find workers to fill. , Trump replied? “ that’s OK. There will be robots to do those jobs. “ Trump can’t keep a secret. He knows what the billionaire technocrats want
Utterly terrifying because it's true. Everyone thinks I'm nuts because I keep telling them this!! Did none of them watch The Terminator, I Robot, Westwood, The Matrix, etc??!! Somehow Holly'weird' has a way of foretelling the future with chilling accuracy at times!
Wow! This grandmother is listening! I appreciate my dumb tv and my ancient dvd player! I can still check out videos from our library ~usually found in the children's area lol
Informative, as always, Wise Wolf. You remind me of a piece of advice I was given years ago. Understand the business model before you buy something or use a company’s products/services. Some people still think using a search engine is “free”, not realizing that Google is the business of selling the user’s information rather than the business of providing the user information. That difference is huge, and the consequences even more dramatic now that we are in the age of AI. The information we are giving to the tech companies could easily be used against us.
Events are converging right now, coming from different directions, and accelerating into this year. Apparently we wrestle against unseen hands, malignant and powerful hands, pushing us to some terrifying end. But I think the hand of God is working his will on earth, to fulfill his own purpose. As this turning point unfolds, we're going to be astonished by what happens in the world!
As the granddaughter of great grandparents who were farmers you lost me when you posted a pic and wrote : immigrants do the jobs Americans don’t want” This is a lie and its sad you don’t see this propaganda for what it is now.
Forced out the heritage Americans and then hire exploitable cheap foreign labor you don’t have to pay living wage and give health care and then claim it’s because Americans don’t want those jobs. Shame on you.
One problem with this is that Cesar Chavez would be cursing you from his grave, arguing that exploiting cheap imported labor is the best solution for American wirkers. It was Chavez and the UFW that first organized civilian patrols to catch the braceros snuck across the border by growers back in the day AFTER Operation “Wecback” madeit possible for legal American farmworkrrs to organize because their labor was not swamped by that of Mexican citizens willing to accept below-subsistence level wages. And I recall that when a Midwest meat processing plant was raided and illegal labor removed, there were long lines of local legal residents seeking jobs. The idea that our economy can ONLY exist on the backs of exploited Third World labor personally sickens me. It seems as if the future predicted by stories and films like METROPOLIS is being pushed as some sort of fait accompli. I think America should do better than base its future on human exploitation. I am reminded of an anecdote I read in a biography of Benjamin Franklin, who long before the Revoluttion, served as the appointed Colonial Representative to The British Crown. On a tour of Ireland, Franklin was being escorted about one of the many vast estates there owned by British nobility, and Franklin noted the abject poverty of the Irish serfs on these estates, often dressed in rags and living in virtual hovels dug out of ground, in contrast tthe fantastic wealth and opulence of the ruling lords of the land. One of these lords, his host, was commenting on the economic situation in the American Colonies, criticizing the fact that these colonies exported so little wool and meat, in comparison to Ireland. Franklin’s response was that the reasons Americans exported so little wool and meat was because Americans liked to eat meat and wear clothing. When thinking about the history of our nation, I often reflect that our country started out as a different sort of society and what that has meant for our prosperity, our happiness and our prospects.
The US may be headed for a Spanish Civil War (1936-39) scenario. One aspect of this was the Marxist push against the Christian faiths (perceived by The Left as 'conservative', etc.). Nothing ever tracks exactly but such a conflict would obviously have unintended (and therefore
unforseen) consequences. As a previous article (very well written, btw!) alluded to, chaos will be the narrative. And as with the Spanish Civil War, fighting will ebb-and-flow in ever-changing geographic regions, heaviest in the larger urban areas, and will likely also involve data center (AI) disruptions in some of the more rural outlying areas. Especially if their presence is perceived as economically oppressive. Regardless, I don't believe AI will ever attain AGI (conciousness) as that, in my opinion, necessitates and endocrine system, which in its infinite complexity, can only be bestowed by God.
Great thanks for making the effort on this phenomenal piece, Wolf. I will re-post it on my stack, just as with your earlier piece on the six demons-in-charge ...
We are to believe that the only illegal aliens that are being deported are known felons not lettuce planters, criminals that rape, steal and drive drunk killing people not avocado pickers. Also, they have been told they will have everything they need without working and can go to college if they want. They won't want any of those 'dirty jobs' either once they are here and the libs show them how to vote, they will have the good jobs and we will be glad for the robots.
1. Do you have a website? Be sure people have access to that and other forms of private communication even email as those are ironically the way away from censorship. I made that comment on Facebook and it immediately got deleted - censoring teaching people how to avoid censorship.
2. Lack of private ownership is partially a choice. We need to start robotics companies that explicitly and overtly offer the laws and contractual frameworks and ethics that you’ve espoused. Let’s stop complaining and become the solution. I’m in fundraising for startups now. Hit me up. Let’s do this.
My mother got a promotion for HBO+ and similar channels for her DirecTV. She had not asked for them. The company offered them three months free. I told her to say no, besides, she doesn't even watch the normal channels, no good films anymore, Netflix has a wider choice, including classical films. Robots here? None I know, but a robot doctor has been imported by the British Hospital.
Great article, thanks. I marvel at how well "all of this" is orchestrated, with each action - mass immigration for example - serving so many purposes at the same time: keeping wages low, changing cultural norms, potentially being used as an excuse to implement digital IDs and the list goes on. Once you're awake it's obvious how easily we're being manipulated to demand our own enslavement.
We hear repeatedly that the window for stopping this onslaught is rapidly closing. But it's seems obvious that we can do nothing to stop the creation of the robots that will be used against us any more than we can stop the manipulated economy from robbing us of our savings and buying power. Protesting does no good and can end in a frozen bank account. Voting harder is even less effective. Taking up arms would only offer an excuse for implementing marshal law.
So it looks like pulling our labour and money out of the system is the only option. Becoming as self-sufficient as possible. Building networks of like-minded people. Doing that shifts one's focus away from the feelings of helplessness that result when we understand how much bigger than us this is - how great the coordination and funding behind the move to keep us weak and biddable so our energy and wealth can be extracted more easily.

Oh yeah, tons of Americans are dreaming of shoveling pig guts, ankle deep in blood in a slaughterhouse for 20 bucks an hour... #AmericanDream
Sparta kept slaves dude. Spartan teenagers would legally murder the slaves for fun. If you think slavery is cool, you are NOT a Christian.
this sounds a lot like babylon's economy...

'Christian Nationalist' aka fascism that replaces the swastika with the cross to justify human rights violations.

The dummy inside my phone can’t understand me. I was using speech to text “the CEO lamented”.

Still manual work, harvests are by hand. Alexa is a novelty.
I distrust robotics. I always remember the famous sentence in "Terminator". "August 29th, 1997, Skynet woke up."

Is this an unavoidable future? Are there countermeasures? How does one fight BIG business?
