The authorities where I live tried to pretend to the public that Flock street cameras caught a bank robber who actually outed himself on social media after he and his car were also seen fleeing by some of the humans he didn't kill when he robbed the bank.
Flock did not solve that crime. Human witnesses and the armed robber himself are why he was in custudy in under 24 hours. And even if it had, it still wouldn't be worth the price of losing our basic rights.

I was recently involved in a trial and was shocked to learn that license readers are all over my town, along with video cameras on light poles. It did help the cops solve a crime involved in the matter so I have mixed feelings but I was quite in shock over the notion and my ignorance about it.
I read somewhere else (perhaps Joyce Vance from Civil Discourse) that although police need a warrant to undertake such surveillance themselves, there seems to be no legal restriction on them buying such surveillance from third parties. It seems to happen throughout the US.
Anyone who is in the police "force" is an enemy of the people. They work for the banks. Sure I know everyone has to put food on the table, but you have to think of another way buster, if that's your excuse for making yourself the enemy of your friends, family and neighbors and yourself.
