Everyone has earthly fears, especially of death/dying. The fear of the unknown is where nightmares hide.
But Yahusha (Jesus) is real and He reveals Himself to those who seek Him. When someone asks Him to be their Savior and to forgive them their sins, He does exactly that. But it doesn't end there. Once they ask Him, they now, moving forward, have to take Him seriously. That means finding out how He wants them to live and then living the way He says we need to. You'll find His Instructions within the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
We might lose friends over Him, might be insulted, made fun of, lose out on job promotions, even be murdered because someone doesn't like believers..........anything could happen. But, no matte what, this life we live in definitely has a beginning and an end. Where we find ourselves going after it ends depends on whether we were serious when we asked Yahusha (Jesus) to forgive our sins and be our Savior. Did we search through the Scriptures to learn how He wants us to live and then try to do those things as best we knew how, imperfectly as we may have been in our attempts to please Him?
He's not looking for perfection. He's looking at our intentions, our hearts, our innermost beings. He knows if we are playing Him or if we have seriously turned our lives over to Him and now are wanting Him to have the final say on what we will do with the rest of our lives; i.e., where we should live/work, how we should interact with the other people in our lives, and so forth.
We will walk, stumble, trip over ourselves, even fall flat on our faces occasionally, because it's hard to give the reins of our lives over to Someone Else and not try to take them back, at least now and then. Let's face it, we are use to calling the shots.
But if we will allow Him to be our Master, our God; if we listen carefully and try to do whatever He tells us to do that's written in His Word, we will shortly discover how wonderfully different walking with Him is than how walking alone or with another human being is .
Having a relationship with Yahusha is like coming upon a Pearl of great price that is found by a man who then sells all he has in order to obtain it. Yahusha is that Pearl and your life is what you give Him in order to obtain Him. He allowed Himself to be tortured, whipped, beaten, in your place. He paid the Redemption Price for your redemption with His Own Blood and Body. All He asks is that you turn your life over to Him and walk with Him through the rest of it until it's time for Him to take you Home.
I ask to walk with HIM. I have heard and I have seen and see now and expect more of despair and suffering and the desolate fragility of humanity as we while away though the centuries for the culmination of the good vs evil showdown. How much longer? How many more need suffer? The human understands receiving kindness but does not feel the same goodness when giving it to others. Some feel more DESERVING, entitled, more eligible, greater than another. Why? We have waited long enough haven't we? Haven't you Marilyn? ☮

Wenda, I think you are right about the actors. It seems to me that some of it is crops of actors produced just like movie actors.
It is astonishing that people can believe that the actor and the character he plays are the same person. Soap opera actors used to complain that some women who met them in public would berate them about their behaviors in the soap opera.
I think people are trained to project themselves into movie characters to such an extent that when they see acting outside of the movie content it 'feels' normal to them.
Maybe the Prezzes of the US have been remote controlled, like Bush with the lump under his suit jacket with earpiece, or drugged like Reagan, or trained thespians like Obama reading the prompt screen.
