I suffered from that same bronchitis every winter... Had to keep a trash can right beside my desk cuz I sat there and spit the s*** out everyday all day long... So much so that I finally realized that my body is not making that I have to be putting that into my body... Which is exactly what I figured out... You're eating a lot of what I call "mush" food... Cereal bread cakes donuts... Anything that's flower based or dairy based... If you pour some cereal in a bowl of milk and come back in 30 minutes 45 minutes all it is is a big wad of mush... As soon as you eat that your stuff in your body with it and it gives the bronchitis a place to breed basically... Stop eating the mush food and in 30 days you will never have bronchitis or any other kind of upper respiratory ever again in your life... To go off of it for 6 months and see how healthy you become... And then if you want to test it start eating mushroom again and within a couple days you'll start spitting that stuff out again and that way you will prove to yourself you'll be able to see it with your own eyes that what I'm talking about is the truth... You have been killing yourself with " mush" food !!!

Yup, carbs are not your friend, at any time let alone when sick.

I've been using this for years. Give it a try.

It's called Tincture of frankincense.

Tincture of frankincense, derived from the resin of the Boswellia tree, has been used traditionally for centuries to address respiratory issues, including bronchitis, by acting as an anti-inflammatory and expectorant. It is thought to help reduce inflammation in the bronchial tubes, ease chest congestion, and reduce mucus production.

Kikimick44's avatar

Yes! I do the same thing. Works every time.

Ken k's avatar

I use a 50/50 mixture of Papyrifera and Carterii frankincense and 50 proof Vodka. Ratio is 1 part Frankincense and 5 parts Vodka. You get better results with 50 proof Vodka because there is a water soluble part in the extraction process.

It works incredibly well for arthritis also.

Ken k's avatar

It already works really well already, but thanks anyway for the tip anyway.

Stan Mrak's avatar

Look into DMSO if you haven't already. I think you'll like it. I try DMSO for almost everything.

Ken k's avatar

I've looked into it and would use it externally if things got unmanageable by the tincture, but it's completely manageable right now. 3-4 times a week or maybe 5 times a week works well for me. I'm no spring chicken and had surgery on both knees from playing contact sports in younger days at university. Didn't seem to matter, though, till I got real old.

Feel better Wolf great article it did make me smile.. thanks

So we’re do you get these items from? If you don’t mind saying. There are so many natural things to use. I also know Quercetin and zinc for lungs and immune system.

Ken k's avatar

I live in Canada so can't get Quercetin. I usually order my frankincense off Amazon but there are other retailers that also sell it.

Quercetin is a zinc ionophore. Green tea is also an ionophore. The highest concentration of zinc in foods is oysters. So shuck some oysters and drink some green tea or smoked oysters will do.

Zinc is highly regulated by the cell because it attacks the transcriptase enzyme that transcribeds RNA.

IT has a profound affect on the production of the Spike Protein inhibiting it.

Bobby's avatar

Sadly I see so many indications of that evil, heart problems, sickness even in those who did not get the shots. I Pray that we will be healed in Jesus Christ Name. Amen brother stay healthy Stay well.

Bobby's avatar

Why can’t you get Q in Canada? How strange it’s a well know product they used during Covid, it helped a lot. Thanks for the valuable information, stay well.

Ken k's avatar

I'm unvaxxed but shedding is real. I stay away from my daughter and granddaughter when they're sick and that's regularly.

I took Dr makis advice and take fenbendiazole preventatively. So far so good.

Bobby's avatar

Wonder on that shedding how long it last? Stay well. So on the fenbendiazole how much how often? I like Dr Maki’s must have missed that article of his.

Ken k's avatar

Here's a link to a company in the US that Dr Makis recommended.

https://shopbplife.com/

Ken k's avatar

There's no off switch. Not all cells are manufacturing the Spike Protein. Need to destroy affected cells.

They've done testing on sewage in big Metropolitan areas and found a large percentage of the Spike Protein indicating shedding is happening.

I'm finding it hard to stop being infected. Need a lot of tools in the toolbox.

It's not a Vax it's gene therapy. The spike protein actually gets integrated into the cell's DNA..

Seasonal, severe bronchitis used to be my Achilles heel. Every time the seasons changed I could expect to be hacking up my lungs and wondering ‘why me ?’.

A GP doctor, who was also a nutritionist, explained how to change my diet, and it changed my luck. I have to follow these dietary guides to remain bronchitis free.

Get as much of the sugars and flour based foods out of your diet on a daily basis. It’s going to be hard to do if restraint is not your strong suit.

But a stable immune system could be the result in the long run.

So avoid breads, pastas, processed snack and desserts, sodas, even too much fruit. If it’s not sweet, starchy & processed - it’s going to add to your immune strength, not undermine it.

The cost? Fresh vegetables like broccoli and cabbage and onions cooked minimally are your support. Fresh meat and tofu can add protein. Grains? Brown rice at a minimum. The cost of cooking meals with this array of ingredients is small when you weigh it against the cost of doctors, medications and work time lost.

Suffice it to say, cleaning up your diet will help to avoid or shorten bouts of upper respiratory illnesses.

In the meantime - don’t drink cold drinks while you are sick. Feel better. Stay funny.

I’m so sorry you’re sick, Wolf. Praying for you now.

TimE's avatar

I feel ya, Wolf. I had a hell of a case of bronchitis back in February of 2003, that directly led to my quitting cigarettes. It was a hell of a way to get there, but it scared me enough to throw the stinking things down for good!

Good luck and feel better 🙏🏼!

Christine's avatar

I am so happy for you 😻, Cigarettes are one of the biggest killers that exists

TimE's avatar

Thank you! They are indeed. I can't even stand to smell one now. 🤢

Get hold of some peppermint tea and some lemon ginger tea. Peppermint has antispasmodic properties and will help ease the cough. Lemon ginger is antimicrobial. Both can be found easily in grocery stores. Prayers that your winter ick passes soon.

He Wise Wolf, I am a paid subscriber but if you would leave a place where we could contribute above my subscription I would do that!

As an FYI, my wife, who has her BSN in nursing, left nursing many moons ago and bought a health food store (when they were still considered fringe). When she bought it I couldn’t walk across the street without an inhaler. 3 years later I quit carrying one. I had asthma so bad. I haven’t carried one since. That was 30 years ago. I could suggest a few things but enough people have suggested enough things that I surmise you’re ready to vomit. So I will only say that before she bought it I had a nasty cold and sore throat every winter. Again I haven’t had one since and I’m 75 and take no prescription drugs. Only you are responsible for your health….no doctor is. So Wise Wolf, be wise and work on your health. I like your articles and share them most always. You will not benefit us pushing up daisies. Take some time off and get yourself well and let Lilly carry the load until you get back on your feet. And you’re right….we’re in a world of s—t. It’s gonna get ugly…period. So get well my friend, and prepare for both spiritual and physical battle.

grshawver's avatar

PS, I will pray 🙏 for you!

Then if things weren't already stressful enough, my father had a heart attack a few hours ago.

grshawver's avatar

What is his first name? My wife and I will pray a Rosary for both of you.

Sending healing prayers WW. Rest well!

Something that might help. Doctor prescribed though ...https://www.singlecare.com/blog/prednisone-for-bronchitis/

Riff Raffer's avatar

Hey WW, sorry to hear you’ve got bronchitis on top of all the global crap. It’s tough enough to be smack dab in the middle of the book of revelations without being sick. So ignore the synchronized msm parroting & get better. Honey instead of medicated syrups that just mask the issue. Dump some chamomile tea in a big bowl of steaming hot water, lean over & cover your head with a towel. Inhale the warm mist. Repeat multiple times a day. Broth, teas, soup - keep hydrated. And sleep. We’ll still be here when you’re ready to come back.

Mac's avatar

Wise Wolf, take care of your lungs. You get only three, maybe four sets of them in this life. #badhealthadvice

W.W…even when you’re sick, I still enjoy your posts. Know that there are prayers going up for you and yours. And, as I’ve gleaned from your posts, this is something you already know, but…I gotta share anyway…”Normal isn’t coming back…Jesus is.” Hang in there, brother!

Got over the worst of my bronchitis a few weeks ago and Mucinex DM has always helped to quiet the cough and getting the crud up. Herbal tea with honey and lemon juice sooths the throat and chicken soup always sooths the soul. Praying that you get well fast!

Look up how to make a mustard plaster on your chest. YouTube will have videos. A very good herb to help clear passages is Mullein. I grew up having Bronchitis because both my parents were chain smokers. I'd have Vicks rubbed onto my chest with a blanket over my head to breathe in the fumes. They could not understand why I got the ailment all the time. I'll pray you get on the mend real fast Brother.
