I don't consider my self part of the MAGA movement but I am America First. You really nailed it in this article. I consider myself a free thinker and an independent. Hey xxxxx, Merry Christmas, I read this after the opening flurry of presents, don’t read it today, it’s Christmas 🙂but please do.
I have read several of Woodward’s books, actually like his perspective, have the one he references at the end of the article called ‘Battlefield America’ which I actually have with me and is next in the queue.
Interesting article, worth a read, imho, compelling, but he completely whiffs on the Gospel, makes me wonder after reading the article if he understands it at all.
He makes some interesting and provocative points to sell books or clicks to his website but to answer his question.
No, Jesus would not survive.
He would do the exact same thing He came to do in Bethlehem, He was born to die for sin, He did not overthrow the Roman’s oppressive form of the ‘deep-state’, government at that present time, and then in turn fix all societal woes and injustice. That’s why Israel missed him…….

And BTW - that is not what He commissioned we believers ultimately to do, the rest of his points in the article cited are a BYPRODUCT, IF we are doing, what we all should be doing all along.

Scripture says it will, it’s a revival of Babylon, The Nation, Mystery is global. The ‘reviewed Roman Empire’ is a deception, kind of like ‘sin’, that is someone else’s problem, we need to look in the mirror.
Christians, how much time do you spend reading the latest ‘buzz’ wherever it’s at? Nothing wrong with that but I would recommend one spend more time in one’s Bible.
