Just like every other soverign nation, we too are a sovereign nation. We have laws and border laws just t like every other nation. We deport just as does every other nation deport. Trump could declare a national emergency under the authority of the National Emergencies Act of 1976, allowing Trump the use of special authorities during crises that require immediate action. These powers can include military deployment, asset freezing (declaring a bank holiday?), and other significant actions like taking possession of your house and vehicles, or conscripting you into a neighborhood watch. The Act is subject to congressional oversight and must be declared formally (as if that would stop Trump!).

These brave truckers were protesting the government-mandated Covid restrictions that did not permit inter-provincial or international travel without a Covid vaccine. Illegal arrests were made (some protestors spent months in jail), property was seized, firearms were ‘planted’, $3.8 million of Give Send Go was seized and some who had donated had their bank accounts frozen, more than 200 accounts worth nearly $8 million.

I don't consider my self part of the MAGA movement but I am America First. You really nailed it in this article. I consider myself a free thinker and an independent. Something else that is commanded of us in the Bible: we are commanded to follow the laws of our lands. Jesus also espoused the necessity of teaching one how to sustain themselves and ot to be dependent upon others. In other words, 'a hand up, not a hand out'. Just like every other soverign nation, we too are a sovereign nation. We have laws and border laws just t like every other nation. We deport just as does every other nation deport. In regard to the parallels Wise Wolf draws between The German Wiemar Republic 1933 and the American Republic today, I have had the same thought. Trump could declare a national emergency under the authority of the National Emergencies Act of 1976, allowing Trump the use of special authorities during crises that require immediate action. These powers can include military deployment, asset freezing (declaring a bank holiday?), and other significant actions like taking possession of your house and vehicles, or conscripting you into a neighborhood watch. The Act is subject to congressional oversight and must be declared formally (as if that would stop Trump!).
Trump hasn't done anything that was not allowed or unconstitutional. That has been proven by the courts repeatedly. Just because you all think it shouldn't be allowed or that it's unconstitutional doesn't make it so.
In February 2022 Canada invoked the Emergencies Act during the Truckers Freedom Convoy strike in the Ottawa capital and the international crossing at Coutts Alberta/Sweetgrass Montana. This Act allowed the government extraordinary temporary powers, including the prohibition of citizens assembling in public and the freezing of bank assets. These brave truckers were protesting the government-mandated Covid restrictions that did not permit inter-provincial or international travel without a Covid vaccine. Illegal arrests were made (some protestors spent months in jail), property was seized, firearms were ‘planted’, $3.8 million of Give Send Go was seized and some who had donated had their bank accounts frozen, more than 200 accounts worth nearly $8 million.
I am a Pure-blood. During this archaic time, I was not allowed to travel domestically by bus, train or plane. At one point I was not even allowed to travel out-of-province by private automobile. International travel… fuhgeddaboudit.
Just yesterday, 4 years later, the Federal Court of Appeal ruled that the Trudeau government unlawfully invoked the Emergencies Act in response to the 2022 Freedom Convoy and violated the Charter rights to freedom of expression and freedom of peaceful assembly. So Trump is nothing like the wannabe dictator Trudeau and the current prime minister who is even worse. Also those truckers were not attacking people destroying cities burning down buildings attacking police officers and federal agents. I don't think they were doxxing anybody or hunting people down to threaten their families. What the truckers were doing did not deserve the overreaction by Trudeau. While the violent aggressive hateful protesters here deserve to at least go to jail. The actions of the protesters here are not justified the way the truck drivers in Canada were. Majority of the protesters don't even know the facts about what their protesting. They've been misled with lies and propaganda that has resulted in them being hateful violent people yet very ignorant sometimes willfully so. When asked many of them can't even tell you why they're out there or they can't answer any specific questions about the issue they're either supporting or protesting. If they do have anything to say it's usually wrong or delusional. I'm going to bet the majority of truckers knew exactly why they were doing what they were doing. Yeah so there's actually no comparison between what happened with the truckers in Canada and the cry baby whiny bitch liberals here.
