I have a Comcast/Infinity Router and a booster. Every morning, the exact minute I open my eyes, Substack begins sending alert updates to open. Coincidences..maybe. I have switched wake-up times, turned my phone over, put it in other room. It knows.
You know, I really don't give a shit if AI is spying on me for two reasons. First, there's nothing they can learn about me that's no available in may sources it has access to. Second, there's not a damn thing I can do about it without going dark, which ain't gonna happen. Every time I look up a product on Amazon, the next thing I know I'm looking at an ad for it somewhere else. Besides, I like AI as a tool for stuff like music and creative writing edits.
And people are just now noticing this? They have no clue what most technologies are invented for?
Notwithstanding the reality, the fact of the matter is that I have nothing to hide and I hope hope hope the authorities are watching me. They might actually learn something of value from me.
There are some legitimate concerns about surveillance, but most of the viral explosion of posts about this topic have actually been created by the very same factions who created the technologies in the first place.
It seems that people have no analytical skills, and can't figure out why things happen the way they do. They are even less likely to look at themselves and understand how they are contributing to their own agony.
Complaining about a done deal makes about as much sense as pretending you can keep Hitler from being put in power almost 100 years later. This is the world we live in, and everybody is complicit. We have nobody to blame but ourselves.
This is why I have praying for an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) strike, natural or otherwise, for years now. It is always the idiotic majority that goes along with it all that gets the rest of us in trouble.

If I lived alone, I'd run a cable, but unfortunately my wife loves WiFi. I read a similar article last year, told my wife, she thins I'm paranoid.
So how do you get the hotel to turn off that sensor? Feels like a privacy issue.
