While I rebelled I actually did leave a Black Sabbath cassette tape in their stereo and it understandably did not go well. A friend and I were hiking one day and found a pentagram in an area where Satanic rituals were known to be held. I am thankful to have returned to my Christian roots by the time my own children were born. Satanism is not to be taken lightly. One need only to look at the horrors in the Epstein Class and in the current Trump administration.

Yup… I remember all of that from the 1980’s! And you’re right…it has become “normalized”. Things that horrified our parents (and us!) are now being accepted and used by people in positions of power, right out in the open. (Just as a side note: I once saw an interview with Ozzy Osbourne about the bat incident…he didn’t know it was real! A fan threw it up onto the stage, and Ozzy thought it was a rubber bat. In the moment he decided to “go with it”, and bite the head off of it. As soon as he tasted blood, he was horrified! He kept spitting while he sang, because “the show must go on”… but afterwards he ran to the medical professionals to see if he needed to get rabies shots.) But, society has done a 180 degree turn…and I don’t know how many generations it will take to turn it back.
