I don't know the details in ship navigation, but it looks to me like a good trained ship captain would know and understand how to navigate around icebergs in cold ocean waters, so was this captain just not paying attention 😉 We were all assured that the Titanic would never sink too,right, but an iceberg would be a different story right, Ummhmm!
So, people just think about how many "mishaps" we've seen and experienced since the Titanic sank and with these "mishaps" just how certain very influential people are absent and not present when these "mishaps" happen! Well the most "catastrophic event" that I can remember taking place in my lifetime was 9/11, and several influential people just happened to be running late into work that morning and other people had plans to be working out of office(world trade center office)that day, and so on! Some very influential people just weren't there on that day!
I just find it strange that all of these chances work in favor of some people, as well as certain coincidences work out for certain people! Some people are just all in the know right!
So certain people, like Bill Clinton,are just dancing around saying that they weren't very familiar with Jeffery Epstein, when we've all seen that picture of Bill Clinton wearing that blue dress! So I guess,Bill, that was a "mishap" too right!
Anyway my point being, I just love the justification that certain influential people come up with as to why they are present or not present, didn't know about something, and so on! 😆 The things they come up with just to cover their own asses!

I was reading a historial book on Mary - THE Mary this morning, and was struck by a quote attributed to the Poet Virgil - Oct 70 BC - Sep 19 BC. I remember the draft for Vietnam. A lot of Americans don’t. My cousin was drafted. The first time 20 year old Michael (draftee) was sent on a mission, he put one foot on Vietnam ground and was cut in half, literally, while his other foot and upper body were still in the helicopter.
