Not only will this endanger the beautiful animals that this really good zoo is trying to protect, but it is also in the Grassmere neighborhood of Nashville which is populated mostly by Latinos, Ethiopians and other minorities. 500k signatures in opposition to the data center were obtained by the community and the mayor has been half- heartedly trying to resort to using Eminent domain to recapture the land, and yet it appears to be a done deal and that DC Blox will win. The company just purchased the land, apparently confident that it is in fact a done deal. And it likely is. These Ayn Rand-loving suits have emerged from hell and operate with impunity. I hope the lions, tigers, and bears of the Nashville Zoo break free to hunt down and eat these demons.
About three miles from where I live, Google is building a "city" where there were granges and farmsteads. I have taken pictures. Several acres were flattened last year, turning them into a plain. Now, living quarters that are cookie-cutter, a big blue water? tank, thick tubes against big buildings, a metal fence.
My most advanced tool here is my PC. Manual pick-up, a Nokia 105 mobile, gas hot water, electricity here is sketchy. Whence is Google going to find it?
