I have grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If something similar happened to any of them, I would pursue it regardless of who was involved and let the world know what I found.
I am not defending her parents but I see them as victim’s here as well as their granddaughter. At least Casey got to grow up into an adult. Caylee was never given that opportunity. She was two years old and was found with duct tape over her mouth and nose. That does not happen accidentally.

my guess? this entire scenario was scripted from day one. her dad was a cop, cops know judges, judges know celebrity attorneys, they vet a jury of people they have bribed, put on a good show, casey walks, some muckraking to make the father look like he was being dragged through the mud so no one would suspect he helped his daughter beat a murder case, and then 15 years later she starts a substack where she larps as some truth warrior.

I agree with all you say! I was totally astounded that she walked. It was very clear she murdered her daughter. I don't believe she did it intentionally...just out of stupidity...then the coverup. She was clearly a horrible mother.
What I DO have a problem with is her claiming her father was a pedophile. Is she implying her father was responsible? If her father was really a pedophile...why...if she had been his victim all those years, would she have left her daughter with him to watch her, while she went to work?

What I will say with my whole heart and remaining brain cells is this:
This case is one more piece of evidence that our justice system is deeply flawed, weakening, and has improperly balanced justice for victims vs. justice for the state.
There is (as you said) no world in which a child is missing for 31 days, the car smells of human decay, and no one tells the police for that long. There is also no world in which such an incredible laundry list of outright and frankly insane lies can be proven untrue, and there isn’t a reason for the list to be deflecting from some truth.
As a survivor of childhood violence it makes me sick to think that someone would falsely accuse their father. I never thought want to levy that accusation–but I can’t help but wonder why she would accuse her father, casting potential guilt on him for her daughters murder as well, and then not proceed with any investigation or prosecution.
There are so many moving pieces and lies in this story, but literally all of it points to her being dishonest, and either a horrible person or a person so mentally ill they have lost the faculty for conscience.
This interaction she’s just had with you would be laughable if it weren’t so potentially harmful to your reputation and so glaringly obvious that she has no love of her sweet child, nor desire to have justice. It’s sickening.

The reason she is not hunting for her daughter’s killer is because she sees that killer every time she looks in the mirror. The fact that she gets to wake up every day and have any kind of a life other than from a jail cell is a testament to how evil this world has become.

So I’ll say this. 25 years ago I did something very wrong and stupid and shameful, and I wound up going to prison for it, and I will never try to justify or excuse my conduct. And nobody died, or got hurt, I’m not even sure there was real trauma. But I was actually thinking about this today, idk why, but I think about it every day. Every single day I think about the worst thing I’ve ever done and how I need to always be better. I am not ashamed of who I am today, but it took work to get here and I don’t see her doing that work. I pray that she does, because as long as she holds that inside herself it will leach its poison into her and she will never have peace. Let it go now wolf. I believe it was pre-meditated. A search for “fool-proof” methods of suffocation was found on her computer before Caylee’s disappearance.
