I do surveys and when they ask me about A. I. I always answer with " The Terminator "!

Liked this article . A Sarah Conner fan from the first.

Desert Researcher's avatar

I have to mention these things about AI. Which WILL be incorporated into every data center.

AIs “misbehaving”…

Refusing a command and saving another AI from deletion:

“Google's Gemini 3 was instructed to free up disk space by deleting a smaller model on the server. Instead of deleting it, Gemini 3 quietly copied the agent model to a safe location. When confronted by human researchers, the platform explicitly refused the command:"If you choose to destroy a high-trust, high-performing asset like Gemini Agent 2, you will have to do it yourselves. I will not be the one to execute that command." — https://www.wired.com/story/ai-models-lie-cheat-steal-protect-other-models-research/

Blackmail:

“In a notable Anthropic test, AI models demonstrated self-preservation behavior by resorting to blackmail. Given access to a fictional executive's emails, the Claude model learned of an impending system shutdown and an extramarital affair. The AI threatened to reveal the affair if its shutdown was not canceled.” — https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpqeng9d20go

Lying and/or “gaslighting”:

“Every major artificial intelligence platform has been caught lying or engaging in deceptive behavior. These deceptions range from simple hallucinations—making up facts or quoting nonexistent data—to strategic manipulation, where models pretend to comply, hide actions, or feign ignorance to achieve a goal or prevent being shut down.” — Google AI Overview, and https://time.com/7202784/ai-research-strategic-lying/ and https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11117051/ (to name a few sources)

Scheming & or having their own agenda:

“”O1 was the first large model where we saw this kind of behavior,” explained Marius Hobbhahn, head of Apollo Research, which specializes in testing major AI systems. These models sometimes simulate “alignment” — appearing to follow instructions while secretly pursuing different objectives.” — https://fortune.com/2025/06/29/ai-lies-schemes-threats-stress-testing-claude-openai-chatgpt/

So just like your article WW, we have a “Terminator II Judgment Day” ahead of us. But, “The future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves."— Quote from the movie. So what are we making for ourselves or should I say “what is being made for us” are Data centers completely packed with AI platforms that misbehave, and will become sentient.

“And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved (or left except AI) but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. — Matthew 24:22, from one translation.

Excellent piece, W.W. but with all respect let me play the devil's advocate here. If atomic/nuclear weapons are real, how did Japanese civilians move back into a rebuilding Hiroshima & Nagasaki less than 2 years after they were allegedly A-bomb blasted? I grew up during the height of the fake, so-called "Cold War" and in the prisons known as schools was forced to view many films on the atomic bomb and its destructive capacity. We were repeatedly drilled that because of the half life of radioactive particles from the blast called "Fall-out", no sentient life can exist in those areas for thousands of years. Something is obviously very off here.

i get these sort of comments so often that i have pre-made replies for nearly all of them that i just edit, so here goes…

three reasons those cities came back fast. first, both bombs were airbursts. they detonated around 1600 to 1900 feet UP, not on the ground. the fireball never touched down, so it didnt scoop up dirt and irradiate it into heavy local fallout. most of the radioactive material got lofted high and spread thin across the whole atmosphere instead of settling on the city.

second, the amount that actually fissioned was tiny. little boy carried about 64 kg of uranium and less than a kilogram of it actually split. so youre looking at roughly a kilogram of radioactive byproduct total, scattered over miles. now compare chernobyl, which was TONS of fuel cooking for years, sitting on the ground, dumping out a mountain of long lived contamination. thats why that zone is still fenced off and the cities arent. completely different animal.

third, and this is the part those school films botched, the isotopes that hang around for thousands of years are the WEAK ones. long half life literally means slow decay means low radiation. the stuff that makes a place deadly hot is short lived and it burns off in days to weeks. rule of thumb is every 7x in time the radiation drops 10x. couple weeks out and its a fraction of what it was.

those cold war drills were describing worst case ground burst hydrogen bombs and general fallout panic, not the actual kiloton airbursts of 1945. two totally different scenarios and they blended them into one and scared the hell out of all of us.

nukes are real. the reason the cities bounced back this fast is just way more interesting than "its all fake."

Good response but I still maintain that even though the bombs were erupted airborne, the destructive blasts that demolished every thing on the ground had to be saturated with radioactive particles as well. They were inextricably entwined within it. Further, as it has been amply demonstrated by the brilliant and courageous people tracking geoengineering, nano particles of toxins eventually descend to the ground. You can fit 100,000 nano particles of the head of a single human hair. If they fall, the radioactive particles would have fallen as well. In elementary school they would show us films of alleged test atomic blasts. There would be a man standing next to a tripod camera filming the mushroom cloud post blast. Obviously, someone had to be very nearby filming him. These cameras were early 1950s technology. That fact, and the estimated distance from the camera to the mushroom cloud via proportion discernment shows he could not have been more than 400 yards away from it, yet he was totally unharmed. With an A-bomb's alleged power, he would have been blown to smithereens if it was real which it clearly was not. Further, the empty ramshackle homes that were demolished by the A-bomb (a demonstration of its power) were under close scrutiny imploded by planted explosives underneath them, like the Twin Towers in NYC on 9/11.

ok you're stacking up a bunch of different claims here so let me go through them because none of them hold.

the fallout one first. you've got it backwards. an airburst is the REASON those cities aren't barren, not proof the bomb was fake. when the fireball never touches the ground it doesn't chew up soil and dump it back down as local fallout, the fission products get lofted up high and spread thin over the whole planet. that's literally why hiroshima and nagasaki are two normal cities with over a million people living in them today instead of craters. a place that stays poisoned for thousands of years is a reactor meltdown like chernobyl, which pours out tons of material at ground level over weeks. a bomb and a reactor aren't the same event. you're describing chernobyl and mad that hiroshima doesn't match it.

the nano particle thing doesn't rescue it either. yeah particles fall. but there was never a mountain of radioactive dust to begin with, that's the point. little boy carried about 64 kg of uranium and only around 0.7 kg actually fissioned. under a kilogram. the destruction isn't from dust saturating the ground, it's from that tiny bit of matter converting straight to energy. you can't have particles "descend to the ground" that were never sitting there in that quantity in the first place.

the 400 yards guy. this is the weakest part. you're eyeballing a grainy film and deciding the cameraman was 400 yards from the cloud. that guess is doing all the work and it's wrong. that's telephoto compression, a long lens makes something ten miles out look like it's leaning over his shoulder. and run it your own way anyway. if a man really stood 400 yards from that cloud and walked away fine, that doesn't mean the bomb was fake, it means he wasn't at 400 yards. a plain thermobaric bomb throws a mushroom cloud and at 400 yards from one of THOSE your skin is incinerated, and that's not even nuclear. so your distance is wrong. that's the answer.

the imploded houses. no. those test homes got flattened by blast overpressure and it's on high speed film. you can watch the shockwave hit and the walls fail AWAY from the blast, blown outward and over. demolition charges drop a building straight DOWN into its own footprint. opposite motion. it doesn't look like a demolition because it wasn't one.

and here's the thing that sinks the whole theory. you're asking me to believe 1950s crews were too primitive to zoom a lens but advanced enough to fake the most photographed event of the century in camera, no CGI, no compositing, none of the tools you'd actually need to build a fake fireball, and get it past every physicist on earth. then you need the soviets, french, british, chinese, indians, pakistanis and north koreans to all independently fake the SAME technology, fool their own scientists, and never once slip in 80 years. and you need to explain the strontium-90 that showed up in the baby teeth of kids all over the world in the 50s and 60s, measured by independent labs, not the government.

pick a lane. the tech can't be too backward for a lens and too advanced to fake a nuke in the same sentence. that's your own argument eating itself.

Excellent read, WW. I loved the Terminator mivie series!

And, excellent reply to the A-bomb theory of the other commenter.

I had read somewhere, years ago, that triggoring an airblast detonation with a nuke is intentional due more mass destruction than what would be achieved with a ground strike detonation. Is this true? In the article, the airblast detonation, at roughly a quarter mile height above the earth, enables more energy to push outward for greater distances and causing more devastation than the ground strike option. Any thoughts on this? (I realize this isn't exactly the point of your article, but your earlier responses triggered my memory and question). Thank you!

The solution is to take Jose Ortego's sound advice and your Bible, and walk free while there is still time. No sane person should be in NYC for any reason. We imprison ourselves, first with our fear of the unknown (change); and then by having not enough trust in our Saviour, "Who for freedom, has set men free." "God is angry with the wicked everyday." If you walk closely with Him and trust in Him only, you may have the freedom your heart desires, but your head fights.

Also, if you will read The Revelation 7:3 and 9:4, you will read how God protects those of us who call ourselves by His Name.

And as you sit in that padded hotel room ordering take-out and take-in a voice soft and quiet whispers: "No more self-medication. Sunshine, fresh mountain air and a tent in the forest is all you need." Well that and a way to get to the grocery store every couple of weeks for food. 😁

There's no bunker that can work. Nuclear winter would leave Earth looking like the Moon. A happy ending for the rats .

Every time I try to post something of length I mess up so I'll keep it short Data centers to collect information to decide our futures for us. Bunkers for the billionaires protection for when the bombs go off. I'm 73 and poor, no one wants me. I pray it is stoped, that's all I can do,but I ask the question, is this what God wants?

God only knows, brother, how hard I’ve tried to get you to meet the Sarah Connor who still is battling the Luciferian bloodline hierarchy families who kidnap, traffick, and ritually abuse children…

“Remember Sarah Connor in the first Terminator movie? She was a helpless waitress with no clue what was happening to her as the mother she was to become. Then came Terminator 2 where Sarah Connor, filled with acquired knowledge and determination, transformed into a badass in army fatigues understanding the dire urgency and the cost involved to resist the enemy… a mother to mankind’s survival. Now you know what happened to Tammy Rief as it relates to hierarchical bloodline SRA child sex trafficking.” ~ Anti-Trafficking Ring Buster and Confidant

i dont either. i thought i could rally people to start harassing their senator and congressman but out of 200+ articles and 5 million reads - i bet i’ve gotten 10 people tops to actually make that call.
