And you have to wonder… why would aliens come to this speck of a planet out of TRILLIONS of planets in this galaxy… to mine gold?? Or silver… or Platinum… or petrified Dino turds??

Before I even heard of Ancient Aliens, I had read a book called "Flim-Flam" by James Randi. Great book. Randi totally makes fun of many different psuedo-sciences and psychics. One of them was Erich von Däniken. He made mention of hearing a whirring dentist drill - alleging that fake artifacts were being made. To see him as an "expert" on AA was kind of jarring. Honestly, the guy made some LEAPS in logic and stretched things to an insane level. I think James Randi got a big W when he wrote about that joker.

I don't believe anything in the ancient texts. I think we need to toss everything out including $cience and just start again, clean slate. We do have more experience since ancient times so we have that attribute. But even the thought of a sole god is stupid and wrong. And that has been thrashed into us for thousands of years. But it is wrong. Just like the correct "way to see" is "as below, so above" not the way they told us. All the writings are only a one-sided version of interpretation of this realm. A whole other side has not even been tapped. That is why we are lopsided. That is why everything is inverted.

As for fresh vegetables and fruits, if you may go to a farmers' market, when opening hours finish, you may buy what was unsold because a bit wilted or overripe or deformed aka not pretty. At my greengrocer's I buy "ugly" carrots as snacks for my dogs at half the price, at times getting some free. The same for a small supermarket: at day's end, unsold greens may be given away or for a small price. Not big supermarkets, they have a company that carts away the lot.
Sorry for the rambling, I hope to have been of some help. Since I live in the countryside, such things are more common. There IS rural poverty, and this helps.
As for the AA, I used to watch History Channel, because its main aim was ... HISTORY. Excavations, archaeology, heritage breeds, discoveries, reconstruction of buildings (I sooo loved the CGI of the Tower of London, from William the Conqueror to today), even reconstruction of famous people's health. Example? One episode called "Inside the Body of Henry VIII", using modern equivalents, fat indexes, with Dr Lucy Worsley making the purchases for one week for Fat Henry, enough to feed a normal human for a whole month. Yes, I have the DVD.
