I think they feel theyâre untouchable but I donât see a great future for them given the increased cost of living. The cost of housing is astronomical and salaries have remained low . A single person cannot sustain themselves so they rely on credit . Mean while we have over 200 billionaires in this country whose tax is minimal in comparison. When they were taxed at a higher rate they maintained their wealth and the middle class thrived. Reaganomics created the divide and the gap has grown exponentially. Letâs start by increasing taxes on the extremely wealthy and build more schools, hospitals and opportunities for our children and grandchildren. Stop feeding the beast.

I do think that any able-bodied senior should help physically protest and I know there are many seniors that are able-bodied. Both of my grandmothers lived into their 90s and were self-sufficient until the very end. My mother and father passed in their 80s and they were both self-sufficient until the end by the end I mean, maybe a couple months where they were unable to do things for themselves. The pedophile protecting Republicans donât disagree with him because they donât want to repay Social Security. The Republicans have their own retirement paid for by taxpayers.

The America you miss could not exist today. No one today could afford to work in the businesses for2-5$ an hour. Today you must own a cell phone, a car, a place to live, insurance, a skill. And salary That allows you to live in this environment. As a kid in early 1950s we begged for pop bottles to turn in to collect 2 cents to spend on penny candy. Some got an allowance of maybe 25 cents per week. Taxes, something everyone hates. Is only way I can see to help level the playing field. Today billionaires govern to their benefit and they donât want the field leveled.

My Mother is 88 which is 20 years older than I am and for her age she get's around pretty good. She still drives and walks and speaks at a few senior interest groups. We've discussed this eventuallity in length but she remains adamant it is too late in the day to get older folks the incentive, energy and hope that anything can be done at this point. They want to enjoy their last years spent with their grandkids not trying to mobilize against an automated unlimited funded decades old plan to subvert and subjugate all of humanity by a small group of billionaire psychopaths. It's practically impossible to get enough people to believe at the cost of their reclusive comfort they should give that up to make a difference. Sorry man but it looks like the stage is set. Iâm 85 and feel the same⊠I have 9 children, 25 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren with more on the way. Iâm old and tired from a lifetime of hard work and struggle and just want to relax in peace and enjoy what time I have left. Sorry you younger ones are going to have to pick up the sword and fight for all of us. If we raised you right, you can do it!

I know that a lot of seniors just wanted to enjoy their life, but itâs all also our duty to try and make sure that there is a United States for future generations. Iâm 76 so I have lived through a few of these things that people have mentioned. I do think that any able-bodied senior should help physically protest and I know there are many seniors that are able-bodied. Both of my grandmothers lived into their 90s and were self-sufficient until the very end. My mother and father passed in their 80s and they were both self-sufficient until the end by the end I mean, maybe a couple months where they were unable to do things for themselves. Senior citizens cannot sit by the side and expect the youth to do all of the fighting.
